I hate that Bedtime Stories is the least represented album in Madonna's touring career. I disagree that the songs don't lend themselves well to the stage. They do, and knowing how creative Madonna is, she can surely find a way to make them work. She just chooses to keep her tours upbeat because that's what people expect of her, and sadly, the classy songs on Bedtime Stories are too smooth and laid back that they could drag down the pace.
Yes i agree, the only song from bedtime stories that make through some tours and the madame x tour is human nature. The others where preformed a few times, take a bow recently on rebel heart tour for the FIRST TIME, secret was only on drowned world tour, bedtime stories never yet.
qhm 23252 GIRL... or Boy! Every Madonna album is kinda like you enter a different world.. Bedtime Stories is a dreamlike spiritual experience! It was so different from Erotica.. Both Amazing albums.. where Erotica is dark and she makes you look at yourself and accept what you really Desire.. Bedtime Stories takes you into just a state of mind that's total blissful and Beautiful.. like Surrealism Art.. I love MADONNA 💖!
seldom known fact: After Bedtime Stories was released, she was getting ready to mount the Get Unconscious World Tour, but the part in Evita changed all that

This is beautiful, but in my opinion nothing has ever been able to top the Blond Ambition tour book. I remember the first time I looked over it when I was like 7 and it was just so magical. the photos from Vogue and Express Yourself videos, along with the classic Herb Ritts photos later used for Immaculate Collection....it was just the greatest!!!
Thanks for the Tour Book Tour. I was devastated that there are no pictures from the actual show. I thought that was why it was delayed. With the photo Ban pictures from the show were needed in this tour book more than ever.

Going retro was never her goal. Yes Bedtime stories was a bod manifestation of her ability to switch from pop to rnb but so is this album, saying I am taking another step and venturing far from the ordinary, the stiched lips and political messages some songs bring. Its one if her best albums and I m happy iwill enjoy these brilliant tracks played live

Love this remix. This remix is a throwback/sample of Enigma's Sadness and Mea Culpa. Also it was the sound of the late 80s for Soul II Soul (Keep On Movin') and even Madonna's remix of Keep It Together.
this song is a gem among the many brilliant tracks of MX. The live version was nothing less than amazing last night at the Rex in Paris, along with the show as a whole. Just a drawback was the tiny seats at this particular venue

Interesting how there's like *NO* mention of Ray of Light in the book. RoF is arguably her best work and I believe it's the closest we've come to learn about the real Madonna Louise Ciccone. It was such a flawless record... not many people manage to create a transcendental body of work that tackles everything from newfound spirituality, the new perspective on life triggered by giving birth and bringing new life into the world, as well as dealing with the death of one's own mother in such a cohesive and well-structured manner. None of the stuff she's put out in recent years came close to the complexity and genius of Ray of Light.
