For reference to Grievous in Star Wars He was originally a race called the Kaleesh but the Jedi pretty much said "Nah fuck you guys" and let helped another race nearly drive them to extinction. He got blown the fuck up and turned into a cyborg by the Sith. Is the short of it Also I'm pretty sure that kick from Guy would have likely killed ANYONE else aside from Madara.
