@@pirateking3465i miss the time when powerscaling was a thing in the show. The coolest things about shonen animes is the fact you just know there are so many charachters in this world that are potentially stronger then our mc's. But in the end of naruto he and sasuke become gods. The raikage isn't even 10% of sasuke's power. I really hate that. The kages, akatsuki, kakashi and all cool charachters that we thought were strong are just ants compared to naruto and sasuke.
Thank you Pat for defending Orochimaru. He was the first true villain of Naruto and he instilled fear in the viewers. When you saw Orochimaru in the forest you knew shit got real.
Orichimaru the GOAT. I don't care what anyone says. Original Naruto Orichimaru is better than every other villain in both original Naruto and Shippuden.

Jerry is tripping, probably is smoking dumb crap. Without Orochi bringing the FOUR back, the war wouldve been lost. I dont understand how when a guy who watched the show underplays key or important characters. Dumb Jerry, IQ 50.
And then got his ass beat. Had it not been for Madara pulling up when he did, Oonoki would have killed Sasuke. The boy bit off *way* more than he could chew.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 It wouldn't have though. If Sasuke died Danzo would still be an issue & things later on in story where Sasuke was needed, as well as the very important summonings that will be made later wouldn't happen (one of which ends up powering Naruto up ALOT). Also losing the Raikage as a fighter for your side wouldn't be good and in the end everything worked out positively for Gaara.

ManInTheWorld - HxH doesn’t give as much frequent action or attempt to be as grandiose a story as Naruto. I think HxH is on a different level in terms of character depth, interpersonal dynamics, innovative story structure, emotionally impactful character moments and smarter fight scenes with more unorthodox abilities, and much more going for it. It’s also not even finished so we’re comparing a finished story with one that’s still developing. I’d rate Naruto 3/5 and Shippuden before the war arc as 4/5. After war arc 2/5. Biggest flaw is annoying main characters (Naruto is a dork, Sakura is useless, Sasuke is a scumbag and Sai was right to hate him), crappy relationship dynamics (see Naruto and Sasuke’s friendship, and Sasuke and Sakura’s whatevership, also the afterthoughtness of NaruHina), pacing was horrendous, flashbacks and many character moments were overly sentimental, and an underutilized extended cast (Lee, Neji, Hinata, whatever the other’s names are). HxH is a strong 5/5 if that wasn’t obvious. And just for further comparison, Bleach Soul Society arc: 4/5, afterwards 3/5, One Piece before time skip: 4/5, after time skip 3/5. (No fillers were considered in the ratings of any of the above anime... otherwise subtract 1/5 stars where applicable.)

This might be the best shounen but i wouldn’t say best anime. Personally I like the shorter anime’s because they tend to have a better flow and story. Long shows get drawn out at certain points get inconsistent in some areas.
@@Wat450 it's honestly not hard to figure out what the OP is saying. They have the anime itself at a low volume, in contrast for their far louder volume as they get psyched out and shit. OP is having difficulty hearing the anime itself, over RTTV's voices.
@@Wat450 except, plenty of other reactors have the volume perfectly even to their voices but they don't seem to have that copyright issue. But you do you I guess. Your ability to convey sarcasm on here could use some work though. There was no hint to it at all really. They have it lower probably because of the idea on how people want to see others react to something they've already watched. So those people should have the general idea of what is being said already, thus the material being reviewed is on a lower priority than the reviewers themselves. Lowering volume does nothing to prevent a copyright strike. If that was all it took, the smaller window than the source would be enough to avoid that issue. Have fun with your internet points I guess. Adieu.
Probably my second favorite villain group. I think they have some great individuals and abilities (Pain, Madaras, Itachi, Zetsus, and Kisame) but I prefer the Phantom Troupe because they all coordinate together as a group with the bond and dynamics of a family (Chrollo, Pakunoda, Nobunaga, Uvogin, Machi, Franklin, Feitan, Phinks, Shalnark, Shizuku), instead of always working as pairs on separate missions.
@@christopherrivera1673 On the original topic of *greatest* group. Objectively as actual individuals with written stories, lore & presence the Akatsuki tower over the phantom troupe. Chrollo is the only person who is actually going to be interesting & I doubt it will still have as much depth as... Tobi's story. Better reasons? Probably. but depth, significance & execution = Tobi. I prefer HxH over Naruto in general, but this is the reality of things. I recognize you said *favorite* though, so i'm not saying you're wrong or anything, as you're not arguing against the original point, you're stating your person preference.
North Ayase - When you start off with “greatest group” but bring up how they are “individually” it seems a less relevant point to what I mentioned as being important to my choice of best *group* (not best individuals), which was their interpersonal dynamics, i.e., their functions as a group. The Phantom Troupe’s purpose and shared background is something I would also describe as giving them more unity and more depth than the purpose of the Akatsuki, both in the context of the group and in the context of the story. The Akatsuki come together for their individual goals, like money, ideas of art, want of peace, etc. What the Spiders have by being together is camaraderie and a kind of family of friends, a place to belong (a similar benefit that real life gang members find in their own groups). What they want is to put their talents to use in being recognized by the outside world as more than the trash that the residents of Meteor City are typically considered to be. As individuals I’d put more of the Akatsuki over most PT members but as a group I say the PT are better.. it’s a case of the sum being greater than it’s parts. Btw, it’s a bit a bit arrogant for you to try passing off your opinion as the “objective” one before hearing out my reply to your argument to see if there is a valid perspective aside from your own. Just because you prefer HxH to Naruto doesn’t mean you have the only valid reasons for thinking so.
@@christopherrivera1673 Ok, then that's a difference of interpretation when it comes to which category the original post was referring to & judging from. From the context of what we're watching I don't believe they're referring to internal group dynamics & camaraderie. I don't think that's what you honestly believe they're judging from either, but you are almost doubling down & choosing to ignore my last sentence & I guess there is a slight error in my first sentence because I presumed that you understood the context. When I read the original post I said to myself "depends on what you're judging by, *but I know what you mean* - however I haven't seen enough anime to know if they're #1 in that category either". Might come off arrogant, but from the point I'm actually arguing from I find it inarguable to put PT over the Akatsuki. If we're arguing from your stance I agree with you, If we're arguing from mine you admittedly agree with me. This isn't & shouldn't be a loss from either of our perspectives. I mentioned that I prefer HxH not as an argument, but to preemptively respond before someone dismisses & assigns character traits writing me off as an HxH hater, as people often respond that way to this sort of thing. Also in a way to hint without going in debt that I understand where you're coming from. So in the end, just add to the original post I made "& judging from an alternative interpretation of the question". If you dislike me & want to find the biggest flaw in my original post I can once again highlight it for you though. Overall you could say my entire response was pointless because you wasn't directly arguing against the original point, so I pretty much was also arguing against a point you wasn't making... Though I specified in the end that I understood I was doing so. Underlying reason for doing so is because I wrestled with the idea in my head for a second on which is greater in the end if you weighed both perspectives. Apon your further elaborations I suspect we might disagree on certain things if we expanded that argument. Though I don't disagree with a lot of what you said. In short I feel the phantom troupe don't show the potential to become a greater story & piece of entertainment as a whole if we was trying to figure out which is truly greater. This is expressed in my original post. So maybe subconsciously I felt you were overrating an aspect of that argument & I annoyed myself into responding to it, which is kinda dumb.
Dragonball and Naruto series for me personally are the two best anime shows I've ever had the pleasure to watch, I got introduced to DBZ when I was a kid but I only watched couple episodes from the Namek saga in German but when I saw Goku turn Super Saiyan for the first time...I legit got chills, as for Naruto I watched the last few episodes and then OG Naruto was at the end and Shippuden wasn't out yet, I got reintroduced to Dragonball 5 years ago and to Naruto 3 years ago...and when I watched all shows up to Super and Boruto (still watching) I was so glad that nobody spoiled anything for me, I was absouletely blown away with every fight every moment in DBZ and with the storytelling and emotions in Naruto...these two shows are more than just an anime, they taught us to never give up and to keep getting stronger no matter what
The only reactor I like is pat because he pays attention and is quick with the details and theories. Rob is annoying with his Yamato wood riding and hating kakashi every time he appears. Jerry with his random ass yelling... like you’ve seen it and hyping it up once or twice is cool but not every damn time. Wellz is okay but he’s already seen naruto so he’s just chilling.
Five Kage Summit was great for powerscaling. Those parts where they said the Raikage and Kisame have chakra that reaches tailed beast levels. It drives home the fact that almost the entire Akatsuki is a squad of people strong enough to be the leaders of the villages they came from which is pretty crazy looking back.
Kishi grew up with dragon ball so its the biggest inspiration for him to do what he did and his favorite character is krillin. He also based naruto outfit on gokus gi. Lately he had a frieza life size figure in his space where he drew naruto. So DBZ is just an amazing anime because it brought this dude to create Naruto.
The_Patriot 6969 they’re are and they’re underrated as well niggas hate them because besides hidden leaf cloud village is the only ninja they can contented with leaf
Damn, Wellz putting the Pain arc over the Chimera ant arc, or Pain over Meruem... I can’t agree with that but I think I can guess why. The Pain arc is more of a spectacle than Hunter x Hunter by spending as much time on action and fight scenes as HxH did on characterization and character relationships. I personally can’t think very highly of the action in NS because it’s a simpler plot with simpler, less likable, less mature characters (thus a lesser emotional narrative and less emotional investment/payoff) and because the action scenes had much more emotional impact (though fewer in number; I’m a very patient person and put quality over quantity, in anime, women, friends, etc.), character psychology was so much deeper and the story was much more complex, innovative, and thematically richer. The chimera ant arc was like Dragon Ball Z if it was made for adults who read Nietzsche.
I'm pretty sure Gaara saved Sasuke's life, not the Raikage's. This man would've just amputated his leg like he did his arm while Sasuke's torso would have been separated in two
Rainingツ I edited my response I shouldn’t have said nothing but how many people you know in naruto that would’ve went against all the kages and still held his own

its chill that they started one piece, but i swear they'd resonate with bleach better if they feeling naruto so much because of the parralels, having the espada filling that akatsuki role and all the dope characters etc. maybe one day
Saved the Raikage's life? Nah brother. He saved Sasuke's life. Sasuke was gonna get crushed. He'd penetrate (pause) the Susanoo and crush him. He'd die too of course
Raikage would prolly die but sasuke would be obliterated, he was completely exposed (no susanoo)which is why he used kagatsuchi, but that won't do shit to stop penetration,
@@gemelwalters2942 He would absolutely die, the flames would stab through him. The flames wouldn't be dealt with by cutting off his leg, his whole thighs and probably his lower torso would get set on fire if he went through the Susano'o.

So is no one is going to say anything about them saying Naruto Shippuden is greatest anime?? Like what? Like it’s all good to say it’s your favorite anime of all time but to say best no man lol
Saying something is the best is like saying it's your favorite. You're not gonna say something is the best if you don't like it lol. Besides, there's is no "best", everyone's gonna have their own preferences and opinions on what they like and feel is the best, just like with any other topic.
