That's exactly why i hate Tobirama. Hashirama should have pick Madara as Hokage either way. Hiruzen gave his post to Minato, Tsunade to Kakashi, Kakashi to Naruto. Hashirama could easily do that too

Hashirama and Tobirama made the same mistake, not letting their closest shadow take charge for a period or term, just to have them release all of their smoke that they had pent up. And basically, Tobirama was the sole responsible for all of the troubles of the world, after Madara. Tobirama was the Hokage and only leader to hold position the longest. With that alone he turned the next people against him, Konoha and the world: Danzo, Orochimaru, the Uchiha and the Akatsuki. If Tobirama would have just serve a term or 2 and then let Danzo step up for a term, then Orochimaru, then the Uchiha's leader and at the end let Minato take place right around the same time he actually took title of Hokage, but by then, all these guys who were dying to be in power would've just served their term by then. There would have been no Root, no desertion of Orochimaru, no Akatsuki, no Uchiha aku d'etat, no desertion of Itachi, Shisui would be alive, Minato would have survived the Jinchuriki because he wouldn't had been the Hokage by then, instead it would've been Orochimaru or, better yet, Itachi's dad who would've had no issues controlling the Kyubi. Neji's father would be alive, because no way in hell being the 3rd Hokage, Orochimaru, the Uchiha and Minato in the village at the same time would Konoha retrieve from a battle or fear it. And not even counting the Jiraiya would be around as well. And by the time Minato took charge, which would be almost exactly at the same time he actually did, but this time after the Uchiha leader, Konoha would be so freaking powerful and feared because all these people would be around: Tobirama Danzo Orochimaru Itachi's dad and the whole Uchiha clan Minato Shisui Itachi And Jiraiya. Shisui would most likely take succession of Hokage after Minato. Ain't nobody messing with Konaha if all these guys were alive. Not to mention Akatsuki wouldn't exist or would actually still be good and allies of Konoha. The only bad thing about all this, is that Gara's dad would still be alive and making Gara's life a living hell

Madara was wrong... Its not like the uchiha clan is extinct come down, sarada is born she will have many babies and thus uchicha clan will be reborn :)
