Kajal is my favourite one from the album , and i would rate it above bollywood songs that are coming these past few years. Even though you did not want to go through the love songs , in previous songs of his , everyone said he is not good in singing . So he tried to do singing more in this album , which according to me is very brave and he killed it.
I completely disagree with all your point of views. He couldn't have only given all songs just like mumtaz. He wants to experiment in all genres. This is what makes his album and him versatile. There are many references in madari song and not just "jaise" references. Also, I liked malaal and kajal very much. On your point of lyricism, I believe he is much better than most of the other artists, who just keep repeating the same words. People are not much appreciating his music becoz they are still biased as seeing him just a standup comic. Finally, winning lockupp was a big deal for him and all his fans too because his back to back shows were cancelled and he got the opportunity of showcasing his real personality and he killed it in the show. Just because u have no knowledge of the show, doesnt mean it was a small thing so, he has all the right to brag about it.
That’s great. Munawar said that # for everyone have a song. It’s not just ddh albam. It’s touch different joner. Or other song has more views then mumtaz. Because vo gaana bar bar sunke me depression pe ja saktahu.
He has great command on lyrics.plz listen to khwaaish ,kalandar, khamoshi etc his early tracks.but Yes you are right of his lyricism in this album. But the public always wants grooves they don't care about lyrics .
He has been improving so much in Rapping especially when he is in this scene from 3 years only and has better knowledge than some mainstream rappers with much experience The whole album might have some flaws, but overall a good album for a comparatively new artist in the scene And some songs like Mumtaz, Malal and Kajal are lyrically very good even for a mainstream rapper POV ❤
100 percent. The idea is to always critique a project so that the standard of art improves. Considering he already spends so much time taking his music seriously, I'm sure there's gonna be nothing but growth in the future...
Bars Available Hai Verified Lead Inke Vocal Itne Soft Inhe Kahu “Prateek” Chomoglobin Inke Khoon Mai Aur Puches Weak Teri Tasteless Zabaan Pe Du Remdesivir - Munawar
Ok get your whole pov. But dude it was munawars first album n i know dat there are some areas in which munawar himself need to work upon. But having said dat it was truly a good effort as someone whose main forte was to do comedy n not singing! N the thing dat u said dat munawar keep bragging about his Lockupp win den dude it was hands down one of his biggest achievements n plz dont compare it to any other show! Lockup was made by Munawar himself n he won one sided!! N moreover some people in their entire life cant be able to get over this fact that dey had made him d winner!!! I get it dat he needs to improve his writing n vocab in fun n romantic songs but as someone whose already into so much things hes making an great effort! Its his hardwork n dedication dat makes him standout from d rest N i believe his work speaks the volume of his caliber!!! 💜 He has got the ability n with time he will surely make it big 💜🔥💥

Sood Haraam Maine Rakhe Nahi Dues Bina Phobia Failaye Inse Bikay Na Koi News Yeh Naam Se Noobde, Mujhpe Video Banaye Bina Naam Liye Mera Inke Views Bhi Na Aaye -Munawar
i am fine with the dislike and he critique but you could be genuine about it ..and not lazy like you accuse munawar of being in his writing . the point being u are just cherry picking to get some points across while ignoring the meat of the album ...that being his writing composition ,singing directing etc.. if you just wanted some put downs per track with out actually assesing them ..then fine by me but it would an irony that you will label munawar as lazy ,,and his writing as lazy but come up with this lazy critique ...so not really a review is it? munawar told his album stories through concept and direction too..but i guess you werent really intrested in checking tht out. of vourse he has a lot to grow but to see that he is serious and not easily dismissed is what any unprejuiced person would see.
you know what i realised after finishing this dragging "reviev" ..prateek is upset by munawars popularity and wants to bring him down as he feels its driving attention from "real rappers"..dont know why that has anything to with munawars music here..certainly seems as if in your distate of his "unearened fame" you fast forwarded through the songs like you did this review ...just to push this msg that munawar cant rap and there are many better than him.. least you could do is be honest with ur craft like munawar is with his..if nothing else.
In this whole video, I didn't mention any rapper other than MF. Except for the last part where I said that this kind of music isn't for me cuz there's much more interesting stuff happening elsewhere. The whole video was about MF's music. So I won't say that the message was that people are better than him. I didn't even talk about anyone else. I just didn't enjoy the album by itself, without comparing it with anything else.. Also, I'd say that the meat of any 'rap' album should be its songwriting. Not the composition, writing, directing, etc. Yes, some songs sounded good, but that's cuz it was over a nice beat, not because something profound was being said. I said the writing was lazy because of bars like, "Dedh sau rupiya dega, mai kachra seth". There was a time in India when rappers had a lack of skill overall, and bars like these could be appreciated. Aaj ki date mei sabko punchlines likhni aati hai. No biggie. It doesn't impress me anymore. As a fan of the genre, I want more from my artists. And trust me, MF's popularity is the least of the things that upset me in this album.
@@novacanemusic97 i agree with you on that one observation you made ..like this ..like that..yes i agree with that and ur comparison to what Lil Wayne did once ..it was illuminating.. but then get over it my guy..that's just one point ..you keep repeating it..and make it seem those are the only bars that munawar has written..n nothing else to see and listen here.. My guy there was depth in all songs (some had much more) and would have made you more sense if you didn't skip songs or watched it with the video as well especially for Noor..a whole aspect of story telling u missed by ur nitpickyness about that one thing u don't like. And don't come at me about munawars writing or Urdu words if you haven't heard khawab. Again i am not saying this is the best album out there but it's core value is grossly misjudged with ur "review".
@@novacanemusic97 and please be honest..his popularity over other rappers who u think deserve more attention is bothering you.. you almost said it.. He just made a reference to lockupp like once or 2ice..n you think he made the whole shtick about that..and why can't he be proud of that? You didn't even see it and are claiming he shd be able to brag more while ignoring the circumstances and the context of that win? Obviously munawar has and will hv greater claims to fame..but don't make him out to be like he is only tooting this one thing ad nauseum.
Nowadays anyone with an opinion can pretend to be an expert😂 bro first think about your own downhill rap career before criticising someone who is more talented than you can ever imagine to be!
@@johnfelix621 bro it's just pretense...he literally is so proud of his one line that he wants credit for it..but will ignore an entire album worth of bars since he found one or 2 lines that he didn't like and will use that to justify his insecure jealous stand.
His 'Khawab', 'Khamoshi' songs were much better songs like 'Mumtaz' but they are also least popular. Hip-Hop Audience in India is very young and stupid.
@@savage8581 Had a long day at work. Thought I should interact with some commenters, try and see their POV, if its not very rabid! Plus it's good for YT engagement 😉
I never saw a journalist analyzing ,criticizing and doing brackdown of an indian hiphop album . But good to see people still eating view from criticizing munawwar.
Everyone comes here only because munawar Tum ho kon bhai... Apne views badha ne k liye munawar ka naam use k rhe ha yeh bs Or lockup 1 hai 10 biggboss se bhter ha jao dekho aisa bekar he video mat banao
@@novacanemusic97 Well he has some good albums like Take care, nothing was the same,If You're Reading This It's Too Late and the new one with 21 savage. Doesnt really matter if you like Drake or not but at least he wasn't "Stick to acting" kinda bad. And I would any day prefer him over Kendrick whenever I am in the car or I am in a chill mood. Drake is obviously filling that void in the industry. There's another actor/comedian called childish gambino. He brought in a whole new different sound in hip hop through his album "Awaken, My Love!". Well coming towards the argument I dont think we should discourage other people to make music just because their primary profession was/is something else. THe "aajkal sabko rap karna hai" waala taunt doesn't seem right. Critiquing their album is fine.
@@nexuss8189 i mean true, but it's not like the people who are switching careers to rap are any good at it. People like Drake and Donald Glover are exceptions. But you also have actor turned rappers like shia la beouf and Daniel Radcliffe... they're no Drake/DG Also, India mei kaunsa actor/RU-vidr achcha music bana raha hai!? I'm not asking people to "stick to acting", but if you're deciding to delve into other fields, you'll be judged by that field's standards. And bars like we hear on this album are not hip hop standard ke bars. It's "good for a comedian", but there's nothing more patronizing than that...
Why the comment section is like gan,d chatai ,,, bhai munawar perfect nahi hai accept Karo , Criticism accept Karo , Mujhe bhi odd laga tha kuch song mai
