Ok Ryan here we go again, I have studied this video for at least 10 minutes analysing it in its entirety, and the missed block by the tightened can easily be explained by that little tab called awareness and it was obvious to me that the tightens realized that oh dangit I missed my double team block let me get back and do what I was told to do which is double team the defender, #2 the missed hit stick was just that a bad angle on the hit stick and he missed, I do it all the time when I lurk,, sometimes I go for the int other times I try to hitstick and separate the ball from the receiver,, buddy you looking to hard into things,, you almost had me...
Find me a video of a tight end who went to run a route then turned around to chip a defender. Find me a playbook that indicates a player will "run a faux route" then return to the LOS to chip. We can forgo the walking backwards part and just focus on that concept being explained in a football perspective. For them to program the logic you stated, a real world example would exist.

So it's good programming for a guy to moonwalk back to a doubleteam block. #2 Had nothing to do with a bad angle. He started getting taklec before he even caught the ball and the ball morphed into his hand. When you miss a hit stick the player usually lowers their shoulder in some form of fashion. The 2nd defender gets there, then shuffles his feet randomly like the programming is glitching You don't know shit about football bruh.

Hey @RyanMoody21 - Didn't know if you'd respond to DMs so maybe you'll see this here. FWIW, the play clock is now completely broken in franchise. There's a few posts (one is mine) on Reddit about it. I've got some footage I can send if you'd like. The TLDR - in the 4th quarter, the play clock in the UI will randomly decide to stop working and will display as "--". After this, you can watch the play clock in the stadium as it ticks down to 01 seconds... but then it stops at 01. The game clock will continue to tick down until the end of the game. I've had it happen about every other game since the last update and have consistently been able to sit on the field from ~1:55 all the way to the end of the game w/o running a single a play. Broke. As. Fuck.
It’s definitely scripted. I’ve had too many instances where the Cpu made sure they got what they needed when I was in perfect position to stop them. And it’s not just M20. It’s been scripted for years. Hoping for a better game with next gen consoles
yeah its super irritating. I had a team 3rd and 21 and they make a perfect 22 yard catch to keep the drive going. After my defense delivered 2 sacks to start the drive. The game rubberbands so hard you can hear the rubber snapping
Literally ran the same run play with Walter Payton finished the game with like 20 rushes 655 rushing yards and 9 rushing td's. This game is a joke. 😂😂😂
@Richard Thomas I've been playing UFC 2 lately for fun which runs on Ignite. and it is by far a superior engine for any and everything sports related and its not even close. DDA isnt the problem as much as pre determined outcomes due to using an animation based engine built for FPS games primarily and being forced onto sports games that cannot accomodate said engine

Maddens been cheating the Users for years there wasnt any internet in the 90s to share our experiences . Me and brothers would laugh when we realized we had the same complaints while playing at separate times
Does anyone else get “big plays” when in all madden? Usually when it’s third down or something they do a deep lob that’s caught almost every time and usually leads to them scoring
It just happened that’s why I’m here. 3rd an 25 Im in man coverage with very good corners and the cpu freezes my corner and lets the WR just run by him as the ball goes over his head he doesn’t even look behind him. he is frozen.
I can’t talk anymore trash about this game. It would just be repetitive, except it gets worse. Madden doesn’t reward the user with skillful playing, instead they’ll rewards the not so good/smart player with Tyrek mossing three 6’3 defenders, breaking all tackles in the process and running for the touchdown. That’s what football is to them and it’s sad.
Or what about when you dail up the perfect blitz and the linebacker will blast into the line of scrimmage and be poised for the sack/ HUGE HIT ON THE QB but he magically PEELS BACKS OR RETREATS just so he can get blocked and now guess what its either a 1st down or touchdown....I'm 42 yrs old and been playing madden and madden does alot of head scratching things
I bought madden 20 for pc because I'd figure I'd try it out. I haven't purchased a madden since 2012. It's shocking how many times the play call menu dosen't show up and the other bugs making parts of the game features disappear or freeze. The gameplay is even worse all football logic goes out the window and so does any basic little league level fundamentals. It's actually embarrassing how bad madden is right now.
The sad part is, you know there will be people that defend this game like Benjamin Bailey down there did with logic that makes no sense. Makes you wonder how many of these defenders are EA employees not working on the game they're defending so much.

I agree 100%. I play 17 and i was playing the Panthers had corner in perfect coverage on wr on 3rd and long and safety in position to make a play on the ball as well. This is with 30 seconds left in a tie game. Both of my defenders just STOP dead in their tracks, no play on the ball no attempt to tackle receiver and receiver makes the catch and streaks for a td. Both defenders only started to chase after he was 10 yards beyond them. Then in the draft after the season was over computer auto picked a player for m and i did not delegate. All Madden games after 08 are trash.
I just got beat in madden 20 by Larry Fitzgerald. My plow truck only passed to him. The game nerfed my defense and offense. My defense wouldn’t play right coverage despite a double team on him. Oh and when they did play tight coverage no problem. Opponent would roll out with Murray despite a contain defense and out run everyone for 40 yards. Game is so fuxking broken it’s a disgrace
I'm sorry to all the Madden apologists, but 81 swam the DE going into a route. Even if he forgot he was supposed double-team, his foot-work was imaginary. 79 was set for on single blocking. 89 (intended receiver) came off the line between 77(OT) and the DE. IRL he'd get blown-up on line. I've been watching you for awhile now Ryan. I played actual real life football at a reasonably high level. I started at TE and moved to SS. I played Madden less than one year. It's an arcade game. Watching the marketing and developers talk, I have no belief that they intend to make an actual simulation game. That's the reason Franchise Mode in all their sports games are trash. Even competitive gamers end up using glitches and AI manipulation. I patiently await EA losing exclusivity on all their titles.

Happens in 18 as well. You can get 10 sacks completely shut the IA team down. If it wants you to lose you will lose. Had 11 sacks 2 int and a fumble recovered. Could march my offense up and down the field. With my defense completely shutting it down out of nowhere it gets these huge chunk plays. You cant stop it
Had the Ravens in playoff game and was up 14-0 at Halftime. They let the Titans come back and win 16 to 14. The cheating part was....23 seconds left and I hit Snead deep over the middle between cover 2 safeties. I was running at Titans 30 and defender super sonic speeds up to strip me from behind. They recover it and game over. These Safeties was not even his speed....and caught him. I was suppose to kick it for a 1 point win or be gone for TOUCHDOWN. They cheated....!!! I also noticed they got the safety on me cause my line gave up on me. I was killing them with deep cross routes. Men was wide open and I pressed throw way before dude set up to tackle me..... it's like he teleported to sack me in our ENDZONE. Scripted comeback
Something I’m noticing on replays. When you have a guy coming in for a clear sack and all the sudden a RB or O Lineman magically turns around and some how makes the defender warp off his path and miss the QB; when this happens, I’ve noticed the receiver will catch the ball 100% of the time regardless of coverage.

In online play, it also slants outcomes against you as you near bigger rewards like playoffs/Super Bowls bc it’s designed to keep you wanting to make purchases instead of winning your way to a better team. Also, the amount you’ve spent in ultimate team is tracked and correlates to better results. Complete pay to win scheme.
game is so trash!!! Was playing H2H game. Tell me why!? Why!? is it for 3 series that i wasnt able to make anything happen on offense while my oppenent was able to do so much more then me in 2 of his series and just going into 2nd quater with score 14-0 . So then on my 4th serie all of a sudden my recievers are creating pass gaps , im even able to run the ball , and this doesnt happen till my 4th serie and already down 14-0 then DDA decides to screw me once again. Im runner magically fumbles ball while running. Like if me being down 14- 0 wasnt enough of a difficit! 😤 So i quit game. They stupied to believe DDA is going to keep me engage. Once i regonize whats happening i quit.3-4 turnovers in 1st quater is so ridicoulous!! makes no sense. I had 10 int's in a Head 2 Head just stupied to allow such things in the game. Mightess just bring back NFL Street since Madden so unrealistic.
I experience this every single game. It even overrides user control and button presses. It happens in the secondary while i user. It causes me to veer around the WR or rusher inexplicably. Or the OL will remain in their stance as the DE takes 2-3 steps around him before reacting to the snap. In CFM, The scripting seems to lean to the lobby host team in the 1st half then flip to the opponent in the 2nd. 100% this game is decided by the game, not the users

I lost a playoff game the other day because they scored a touchdown at the last second but when I tell you the receivers feet were all the way out of bounds I mean not a inch of his feet was in bounds. Madden is rigged
I've encountered this not sure if its a glitch or EA just doesn't understand football but I've blocked a punt before scooped it up, went to run for a td tried pitching it behind me, fumble other team recovers, 1st down other team. Not sure how it happened but it did.
I only kno how to user pick. I NEVER allow the cpu to animate my picks. So when I go for a pick and there’s a delay in the reaction I’m just fucked. Or when I go for a user catch and he doesn’t react and I get picked it’s heartbreaking. It took me years to build these skills. This year madden it seems punished the user. My records sits at 340-220 and I would like to display that, why can’t I? Why haven’t we been able to view other users record? I love madden but this Madden 20 is not the business.
I realised that Madden was scripted first in Madden Mobile 2016, No joke 4th quarter you couldn't do shit part to time and there were no way for you to win the game if you were up by a small amount of points at their very last drive. They would score without a question.

I hate to say yall but he is right the game is scripted and cheats ALOT and that's why I dont play the season mode...I constantly notice on 3rd downs particularly 3rd and longs when u need a stop to get off the field....More often than not the computer will throw to a WIDE OPEN receiver and that receivers IMMEDIATE OR CLOSEST DEFENDER will do that stupid STUTTER STEP in route to the receiver/ball while the balls is in the air which makes him arrive a step late like on THIS VIDEO or your defender will completely play some coverage he has no business playing ALL and I be like WTF are you doing in disgust

Okay so the tight end situation was terrible but, the “missed tackle” looks more just like a missed user hit stick. I have personally never seen any animation like that other than the user missed hit stick. If there is proof that that was a computer animation then i would love to see it.
Yes Madden is full of crap!!! I played with ravens and I’m at goal line I qb sneak with Lamar Jackson wide open the left and I am hawked down by some fat lineman all the way on other side. It was fourth down and I needed a touchdown to win!! I quit playing computer today.. no way that fat defensive linemen should have ran faster than him at that distance
I can't even play a competitive game against the AI I have over 500 plays on offense the AI defends all and 500 on defense cant stop anyone, also the secondary you can't wven catch the ball the safeties and corners run the route better than all receivers
Oh course it's scripted....look into playing the cpu & giving up a turn over. When the cpu takes over on offense it's ALMOST 100% that they will score!!
Or how on ultimate team you could be killing a team on just pro difficulty holding the qb to 20 yards and 3 ints and sacked him twice but when it hits the 2 min warning of the game or the half your defense looks like Swiss cheese
Maddens a joke. I got 99 ovr offense and defense plus the sliders all the way up and I still get beat plus wr is being held every play. Explain to me how a player with 70 speed chases down one with 98 and that’s not even with a pursuit angle! 🤬😡😡
I figured madden cheated whenever I use a rookie qb with below average accuracy a simple drag route is over thrown by 5+ yards or some how always goes directly to a defender even tho there is no pressure and the feet are set.
i understand your’s and everyone else’s frustration. but i can’t feel bad or care about how mad people get from this game. why? because the same people complaining about how shitty the game is, are the first people to drop the $60+ every year the second is available. i was a religious Madden fan. literally the only game i played for many years. IMO, Madden has been trash since Madden 15. Madden 25 was the last year i actually enjoyed playing. i’d love to start playing it again but i can’t bring myself to buy it even when it’s reduced super cheap online or play store. as soon as Madden got the monopoly, we all were screwed as fans. the last great football game i played a as All Pro Football 2K8. blows my mind a game over 12 years old is better than today’s Madden. NFL 2K5 was way better also. unfortunately, Madden won’t get any better until there’s a serious boycott.
Serious boycotts have to start small. You have to have someone like RyanMoody pointing out the issues with the game, slowly but surely converting people to the realization the game sucks. Couple that with the now proof that petitions for change works (looking at you Sonic the Hedgehog movie) and our voices can hopefully finally be heard. Not to mention the rumors of an XFL football game hopefully done by 2k. Might be a franchise killer
The false steps are simply the dice rolls kicking in. It happens every play, I mean that’s what it’s gonna be the way the game is animation based. Basically your playing the odds. Now, playing the CPU is a different story. Each individual has a different skill set. Your gonna have to mess with the sliders to find the right feel for you. Now that’s difficult since EA patches the game every other week. I’m not a madden defender. The game is scripted and the defensive fronts are completely broken which nullifies the use of leverage. Which takes out a huge part of football. Ryan, I enjoy your channel but this simply falls into the dice roll category. The higher level you play the cpu, the more the dice rolls will favor the cpu.
Trash game and it has been for years. I stopped playing or buying it for the same reasons: YOU AREN'T DOING ANYTHING! It's all predetermined like a bad simulation. Put your controller on the ground, tap a button to snap the ball and watch what happens. You're not even playing it!!!
Wow! You’re not getting any love for these videos. Well, I absolutely agree with you cause madden cheats the user in every conceivable way. If you change your play the defense adjusts immediately run play pass play doesn’t matter. Arid passes? Not really, look at the sketchy arc and speed of the ball. If the pass is thrown the cpu has its back to the ball it’ll react faster to the ball than your receiver. There’s more that was just some on offense. On defense, every QB is Tom Brady. Receivers always get separation and run at 99 overall speed. Also, stellar blocking on the interior. Franchise mode after week 3 every season the offense is struggling what. The only time I’m not suffering these mechanics is when I’m not playing. One suggestion to correct this situation is to take a three year stint rebuilding the game from the ground up and give patches over those three years to govern each aspect of the game, so it’s playing real football in a game. And not this regurgitating crap from EA.
if the game wasn't competitive kiv and skimbo wouldn't be top players every year, sure it has some cheese and "glitches" if u wanna call it that but it goes both ways and there's always adjustments to be made on both sides of the ball
