im cancelling my preorder after seeing this. I just want to play football and build my team like CFB 25 lets us do. I hate the scenario based stuff it has just nased on this. too many factors to determine if a player comes back or not and knowing EA it will be crap like Free agent was for over a year
The dialogue between players and coaches is absolutely AMAZING. I love the super in-depth scouting report Mike Tomlin received, becoming aware their HB will "have success against their d-line." They even included Jamarr Chase's sweaty headband during their meeting! The attention to detail and relentless dedication is truly unmatched.
I think the playbooks can be easily fixed. You pick a style “air raid, run heavy…etc” that determines how much you throw or run. Then you set a target share to the TE, WR 1, 2…. Then if you set 90% target share to a 50 overall your team will suck. But CPU teams will automatically do a target share based on their team talent
4:43 this is the kind of scouting report we should be getting as we unlock more information about a player. Those 3 lines told me as much, maybe a little more than the letter grade ranges do
Would be nice if it was a 40/60 or 30/70 split on playbook, player influence for success. Cause good playbooks & coaches affect success, but you also need good players to execute
Good luck to everyone giving EA another shot at this mode I am definitely going to pass because a drop in sales is the only way to make them start caring about this mode. CFB dynasty mode gives me something to do this fall
Huge football junkie all I neeed is a roster update and I’m fine football it’s self is the fun for me I will never ever skip a release, but I’m the target audience. I don’t buy FIFA every year I don’t buy 2K every year not basketball or a soccer fan like that.
I truly don’t understand how they can’t just have more face models even if they are just more cartoonish. These pseudo real faces they use all look so goofy.
NHL has the stories and unhappy players…if it’s like that, you’ll get annoyed and just turn it off! I’m glad to see the draft get some attention because it felt so bland! This is decent progress but let’s see how things work…
The fix for the issues of playbooks affecting sim stats, too much, player regression, and many others are simple and EA simply doesn’t give enough of a fuck to fix them, or equally likely is too stupid to realize it’s an issue. It’s probably both.
They should be giving us options for Sims like 2k has for a decade. Madden used to at least allow you to control run to pass ratio, but we should be able to tweak who we want our top passing target to be, sometimes that's the TE or RB, Madden just makes it a random outcome based on your depth chart and overalls
Regression is just wrong. Certain positions don’t regress fast enough, others regress too fast. It’s not random enough. Some players are one season wonders while others play into their late 30s. Instead they have a general regression age at 27-29 and players are toast by 32-33. It gives no incentive to sign veterans because you know when it’s about to be over.
I’m so confused with the dev team , like was our player models so basic preset heads are nice but you edit them ..this was a pretty underwhelming trailer and i noticed a lot was repeated
@@viznshock4361 yep, the game should have an algorithm for what a very bad/bad/mid/good/great/legendary is. if a wide receiver is mad he’s not getting production & he gets 15 targets & does nothing with them that’s not my problem
@@andrewoberg or even just put morale on a 0-99 scale, and have it move gradually throughout the season. If it drops below a certain level and stays there then possibly scenarios, trade demands, ect. Have different players value different things as well. Contracts, stats, and more should go into morale.
