Maddie Ziegler CALLS OUT Abby & Dance Moms for the First Time! 

Exactly and now her kids are facing the consequences of that toxic environment. The moms have been saying since the beginning of the show that you cannot always win or always be expected to win because it is not good for your mental health

If anyone is at fault!, it’s the moms, they allowed thier child to be in the “toxic environment” just for fame, contract or not, you remove the child from it, I would pay any amt of money to break a contract for my child’s mental health.

@@LucyAnna7384 christi was actively let out of her contract, after abby made fun of chloe’s medical condition. that’s the difference. she didn’t just get to choose when she wanted to up and leave, since her and melissa were heavily fighting to leave their contracts around early s3 (since maddie and chloe really didn’t want to and couldn’t do it anymore, and kenzie wanted to take karate), and they couldn’t then.

@Taylortot Abby recently made a video stating that a lot was controlled by producers but what she said was from herself and she explained why. I’m not making excuses for their behaviour, we all know producers had most control and they were under a contract and certain things were manipulated, the blame isn’t all theirs. But others seemed to do more to rebel to protect the kids while others didn’t, Melissa allowed Abby’s behaviour for a long time and played into it desperately trying to please abby in order to keep her child on top and getting the recognition, the moms had issues with Melissa throughout the show for allowing Abby’s behaviour towards Maddie, particularly Christi, where Maddie has stated it was the pressure Abby put her under and how she favoured her which has lead to her trauma. Melissa didn’t do enough to tackle this and wanted Maddie to desperately stay on top to keep up this reputation just as much, even if it meant going against the other mothers. When Maddie wasn’t at the top she was never happy and wasn’t even happy when her other daughter beat Maddie. Melissa and Abby were close to partners in maddies traumatic experience in my opinion.

Yup. On top of it all, there's still this love fest for Abby. To this day, Abby's still pretty tone deaf and egotistical. For instance, in a recent video, she likened being in a wheel chair to being invisible or some shit like that. No one holds her accountable. Well, except for the federal judge that sentenced her for tax evasion, I guess. But still!

She literally said "I never once said the girls can't be friends with other girls" Also Abby: "Chloe would never be happy for you" "Don't look at chloe" "Everyone is praying on your downfall" "These girls are all second to you" "Nobody else has your face" Abby: "if it was so toxic, why did you stay?" Also abby: *yells at maddie, manipulates her, and makes her cry for not listening to her about coming back in the studio during the sit out* *gets mad about them taking their official leave* *puts her on a pedestal and pressures her into being perfect to the point where it's inescapable* Like babe.. it's not easy to escape a toxic relationship and I speak from experience. It's like telling your abuser "no"/"stop" and expecting them to do so like.. that's not how it works babe lmfao

I watched it and honestly, I was disgusted. Not just by what she said in the video, but also by all the comments showing support for what she said. It just really irks me how she literally abused Maddie and all those other girls, but still wants everyone to believe she's the victim. 🙄

Right, I mean people did leave like Christi and Chloe, it’s not like they couldn’t leave if they desperately wanted too.

I’m sure it was the production who created the contracts that they’d owed the money to not Abby. Abby herself was also under a contract.

She didn’t make them stars lmfao. The actual teachers at the ALDC trained them (Abby was mostly just the dance studio owner), and the producers casted them on the show, which gave them a platform. It was supposed to be a 6-episode docuseries without her in it. Her studio was literally going bankrupt pre-DM. Using this argument that can easily be disputed, especially when someone partly speaks up on their mistreatment and feelings towards a toxic time is very weird.

Wtf. She went through a traumatic experience and should be able to talk about it if she wants to.

@@Bcdyhhvgh that’s obviously trauma too but Maddie spent years of her life (basically lost her whole childhood) at that studio with Abby yelling constantly and putting so much pressure on her. It’s definitely trauma if she had to go to therapy and can’t even remember what happened… not remembering the bad thing that happened is definitely a sign of trauma. She had so much pressure on her from a young age and you can even see it on the show whenever she messed up.

I 100% agree with your statement.

Abby didn’t “have” to face backlash. She CHOSE to be unfair and play favorites, even when Maddie herself was uncomfortable with that and didn’t want to see her friends being brought down.

@@mimiray7836 she played by the rules of production cus she had a contract. Maddie is not her first or last kid learn that first. All what you see in dance mom is spiced up edited parts.... Every teacher will have a favorite student. And the teacher chooses the best student for competition cus they know that they will bring the cup home. But a by actually didn't know that her student was a backstabbers. She should have know it from Melissa because the fruit does not fall far away from the tree.

@@jo23750 Sure, Abby helped, but she traumatized her and treated her wrong. There’s literally evidence that Abby body shamed children, wanted to see certain children fail, threw harmful insults at them, and led to them getting mental and even physical disorders. Abby wronged the children. If it was really all acting and Abby was a “sweet innocent Angel,” don’t you think most of the cast would’ve stuck by her? Instead, all of the OGs don’t talk to her and some have sued her. The show didn’t force her to bodyshame, insult, set up to fail any student, tell them their friends didn’t care about them, etc. Abby did that all on her own. You reap what you sow - Abby brought this upon herself.

There were much better kids who were her students and still completely in touch with her and she still runs ALDC. how doest that without the contract?? That itself speaks volume. Nobobody in reality walks down to the studio but the mom's did that all the time and they played owners... Why these people renews contract year after year??? If they wanted only class they could have it outside the show.. But they chose to be in the show so they are not looking forward dance but fame.

Literally EVERY person on the show said that the drama wasn’t scripted. Maddie was one of the sweetest and she was responsible and mature because she was a second parent to Mackenzie because their dad was neglectful. You’re just a hater, but that’s fine - Maddie’s thriving without your support.

​@@oceanblue9122 Yes agree, but Maddies Dad never neglected her and her sister it was beacuse her mother got a divorce with him and made sure she got custody plus made sure he only got a few times in the year to see them, he basically never got to see them and because they were always filming on Dance Moms. But he would always use to say he was trying to get custody. But yes there were times where he did not realy care much beacuse he hated them being on the show and with Abby.
