I just finished binging the anime and he definitely will be on the FBI's main radar if he ever came to America. I understand the story he's trying to tell and convey but there are so many unnecessary scenes and ALOT of stuff that can be taken out of context in pictures or clips.

This is a really good summary so far! Somewhere along the line towards the end, I got confused with what Faputa was fighting for and the whole thing with her mom. But yeah I’m 3 minutes in and cracking up 🤣🤣 I thought this season was grosser too lol

While I totally enjoy this anime, they didn't need to do some characters the way they did lol. As for the pacing of the show, I explained it as a Mac truck. It slow to start, but once it's going there's no slowing down and season 2 was just a continuation of the season 1 reck, it did not slow down 😂 Also the cyclops girl that saves veruko on the stairs when she was starting to turn for the curse, that was her girlfriend from when they were all human. That's why she saved her and was crying
Im actually think S1 its more fast paced, so many layers we progress, but in S2 they gets stuck on the village thing so much time, so much aleotory stuff (why theres so much focus on butts? This author needs therapy), also too much focus on Faputa, mid season was hoping he becomes some kind villain, but she becomes a main character apparently, really dislike this development, i really think they should less complicated and more direct approach to the story

I see what you are saying. Its like they stopped the whole story to focus on Faputa and the small story of this village rather than focus on Riko's journey to find her mom. Maybe it will be more significant as the story goes on.

I kinda wish I'd just watched this instead of the whole season. It was confusing, violent, gross and unsatisfying as heck. I really did not enjoy the show. This recaps is, honestly, a great substitute.

I'm totally okay with gore and disturbing imagery, but the thing that truly disturbs me is the mind of the author. Like, this isn't even a "Oh well she's 10,000 years old" or "Oh well she's 16 and the art style makes her look closer to the adults so it's a LITTLE more understandable" The characters are clearly being drawn as small children and yet the author frequently depicts them in situations I wouldn't even place grown adults into on-screen. It really sucks, too, because Made in Abyss has a seriously alluring premise, and the soundtrack and art style are downright gorgeous. When the creatures aren't made to resemble genitalia (for some reason), the designs are intricate and utterly unique. I really, truly wish I could watch the show without needing to be placed on a watch list.

Watched your other recaps then 8 eps of season 2 last night, couldn't stop myself watching more until the liquor was gone. Finished it today and watched this now to sort out some of the earlier shit I couldn't remember right like some of the characters' relationships and their evolutions. This was a good arc but damn, all the ecchi shit and Mr. dickbutt guy and the diarrhea. Wtf man. The plot of this section felt like a Nisioisin job, with the child abuse and curses, metaphors, Chekov's gun, monkey paw eggs. I'm starting to side with some of the negative reviewers on MAL that loli with tragic backstory does not make a solid character but I think the problem lies more in the pacing. The whole A/B story setup would've been great if the very first scene wasn't the tragic backstory (thanks goblin slayer). Then again, this is only 12 episodes and I'm comparing in my head to things like GOATED bakemonogatari and Eva. That said, what did I expect after Bondrewd? It's exactly what I wanted. I don't think I would have even minded the edginess if not for the specific weird fetish shit that made me laugh and took me out of it (what did I expect?). 8/10 should have watched it sooner. Will rewatch eventually. Got teary-eyed at the end but Bondrewd did it better. Really needed innocents getting murked lol. Need to see more mommy Ozen and less furbait (not gonna happen) Have a sub for your humor
@@MegaRad666 Lmao i feel you completely. I think the show would be better without all the weird shit forced in it but then i remember, im not japanese. So i cant see it through the lens of its creator. Maybe they really love that shit over there. I still enjoy the emotional rollercoaster it provides. The pacing does feel off. For me i think its because we had a whole season where we were progressing down, then a movie where we ended up progressing down. Then a whole season where we were stuck. It feels off and like we got nowhere. Im hoping some real important shit happens when they make the next season
This show is just, anything happens. Watched the complete first season and found it so boring that I just had to recap watch the season 2. And as assumed, it's still crap. Probably one of the crappiest anime out there. No idea why this is hyped so much. This is utter trash. Garbage. Hope they never do a season 3. This thing needs to die. Bury it.

It certainly kinda paused the story from season 1 but nowhere did this season ruin the entire anime. It built on it to tell it’s own amazing side story from start to finish. Season 3 will most likely continue Rikos story to find her mom
how are people saying this is a good recap? I really dont recommend this channel for any recap, the humor feels ripped from primms hood cinema(poorly executed and really stale btw), and he glosses over important details. All in all some of the more generic recap channels.
