The barbasol ads don't lie one bit when I went down to cedar point a month ago I shaved with a straight razor and barbasol cream and the female ride hosts said I looked sexy
I'm sure real men use Barbasol, but many real men also use traditional creams and soaps. What really makes the man is the blade he uses and how well he uses it. I also recently tried Barbasol and it does work quite well. But I'll stick to the old brush method for the most part.
@@terragthegreat175 i just now picked up the brush as well. Im rocking the merkur futur, parker blades, proraso soap tub, and a good badger brush. shouldved let go of cartridge shaving looooong ago.
Barbasol with aloe is good for sensitive skin I take it to use when traveling, but I like Edge sensistive skin gel the best and I like barbershops and old time shaving.
Made in America should have made an episode on New Balance Shoes. It is 2010 and they are still making 1/3 of their shoes in 5 factorys in the USA with American materials. Can't say the same for Nike and other shoes that are made with child slave labor in China.
Every men shall pick any shaving foam or gel they want. Shaving is shaving when it comes to using Gillette or Barbasol foams or gels. No competition, just the best shaving company they have for us men to shave professionally.
Barbasol shaving cream is the only way to go. I was Barbasol Man at Halloween this year. All I did was walk around everywhere with the lather on my face and carry the can in my hand.
Barbasol really cheaped out on their product. It used to be a great lather but what really got me was when they went from 10oz to 7oz and sold them for the same price. Anymore, I no longer use edge gel or barbasol. I use cremo which comes in a tube and does not waste product because you only use the amount you need. Aerosol shave creams are a waste of product and $
Perhaps Barbasol offers convenience, which is fine for many people. I used to hate shaving so much that I'd just use an electric razor a few times a month. But when I discovered the apparently grueling process of using a shaving brush and cream or soap, it became something I look forward to. So shaving went from being a loathed boring activity to being a relaxing, invigorating pleasure. It was a nice change.
I've never tried Barbasol so I can't say much about it, but all of you need to try the traditional brush/lather method of shaving. Sure some of the products are more expensive and time consuming, but it's a great experience and many of the products are top quality. Even more fun is shaving with a traditional straight razor!
Not sure when this aired. The cans in this show have 11 oz marked on them. My old can of Barbasol is marked 10 oz. My new can I just got 7-29-19 has 7 oz in it. Down sizing.....the American way ?
I tried to like Barbasol, but it's a very dry lather, and I never got comfortable shaves with it. I'm sure today's "formulation" is nothing like it was in the 70s and prior.
That's if you use a metric crapload each shave. If you use a more reasonable amount (golf ball sized) then it will last around 250 shaves (eight and a part months).
I think it's great this product is made rite here in the USA but this is not the kinda shaving cream a guy or even a girl wants to use please look up video on youtube about wet shaving it will change your whole way of looking at shaving yourself!!!
