Isn’t it powerful. I watched it when it first came out, expecting just another O.J. documentary but quickly I was like whoa this is powerful. Ezra Edelman did his thing with that project. And this score is equally amazing. It reminds me of Bill Conti’s stuff back in the day.
The film already was breaking down Oscar barriers as it kind of is a TV Documentary. So they've obviously thought seriously hard about even giving it the nom.
It’s not just OJ it’s race it’s sports it’s politics it’s what life used to be like before I was born it’s so much combined with the most fascinating true crime story of all time
Best documentary I’ve seen. While I don’t agree with the verdict Ezra Edeleman’s 5 part documentary does a great job explaining why OJ got away with double homicide.
I've watched this documentary about 5 times and watching it again now on his death and 30 year anniversary of the murders. It gives me chills every time. This is a masterpiece of a documentary.
Just heard the news and this song immediately came to mind. However you may feel about OJ or the verdict this was one hell of a ride. The story of OJ is over.
This is not just “good.” This is one where I close my eyes and make horn noises with my mouth, tightening my eyes appropriately, and in tune, like it’s me, actually playing an instrument… This music goes beyond that amazing documentary it was so perfect for.
I've been looking for this. I really recommend this documentary to anyone who's interested in learning more about american culture, values and racial relations. 10/10
It’s good to be in something from the ground floor. I came too late for that and I know. But lately, I’m getting the feeling that I came in at the end. The best is over. -Tony Soprano. How I feel listening to the song.
Borkborkwoof what no one could see was innocence. What was in plain sight was ignorance. And all people could see was racial segregation and a black limousine returning to the scene of the crime.
@Wynton McCurdy - OJ was found "not guilty" in the criminal case and found "guilty" in the civil case. Either way, OJ is NOT INNOCENT. This is a true American Tragedy. OJ SImpson broke every racial barrier in American Society. OJ was loved and adored by all! But as this documentary asks, "who was really responsible for "creating" the OJ persona? It was us, the American people who idolize great athletics, celebrities, good looking people, etc. without understanding or getting to know who the "true" person is. OJ's fall from grace was epic. Very, very sad.
@@maryanng6841 I remember talking to my friend who is over 50 and grew up in that era and he said everyone loved OJ white or black. Great athlete, starred in Hertz commercials, movies etc… what a fall from grace. I hope he atones for what he did before he dies but I doubt it.
