Awesome craftsmanship. They do what they can, with what they have. These pots look great. This is true talent, not an expensive machine where the robots do it all. You appreciate things more when it comes from the sweat of your brow. Than you for sharing the video.
This got me glued. I never knew this is the process of out locally made pots. Amazing craftmanship displayed. Thank you for showing us the process. it makes one appreciate them more moving on.
Muy buena iniciativa ... No es muy recomendable para la salud en utensilios de cocina ... Pero para refacciones de motos y automotrices 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾sería espectacular ❤️👍🏾

It's interesting to see how people produce it in a primitive way ... I would not have accidentally eaten anything from these pots ... especially after this video.
Aluminum is a neurotoxic metal. Elevated aluminum levels have been linked to a number of central nervous system disorders, including Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Since aluminum containers are usually coated, the coating tends to be injured, resulting in toxic metal in your food.etc..etc
Jan Kritz..... Unfortunately you are right...it's already a nightmare for Europa... Demography in Nigeria and forecast : In 2018 : 200.millions inhabitants In 2050 ; 400 millions ( at least )...! Daniel from Paris-France
Sorry, but we would make pots out of oil instead of tire rims. Britain would maybe make pots from locomotives. France would surrender. Germany would maybe use this method.
The first thing i thought of was all the brake dust that was on the rims. Then i thought why in the world we live in today do people have to resort to this to have cooking utensils?? It makes me so mad to hear all these big companies brag about how many billions/millions they have or how much the big companies give to politicians to make a speech. Why can't they quit thinking of them selves and think by making 10/15 speeches a year the whole world could be living in a much better way. GREED MY FREIND. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORS.
It's called "neoliberal capitalism", denny glenn! Get rid of economic liberals, get conclusively rid of capitalist profiteers, and it will become a better world by the day.
i am french , i am happy to see it, i like it , congratulations for having known how to make from alloy wheels, I discover what you do, congratulations
I am at odds what to think about using pots from al. composite wheels. I don't think I would like to eat from something cooked in those pots. I believe, although not sure, that cast iron is better suited as cooking items. Looking at my pots at home, I noticed that my kettle's bottom is some kind of iron as it does attract magnet, but the body does not; I do not know what the upper body of the kettle is made out. What struck me most is hiding the damage with some product and then painting it with silver paint. I guess that is acceptable in Nigeria.
You're right, you didn't say anything racist. Everything you said for the most part is true as well, although some of it is a little skewed. The problem isn't what you said, the problem is you. You like 99.99% of the world out there stand on the shoulders of great men, and great inventors, and feel superior, when in reality if you took away the system that allows you the privilege of enjoying the work and sacrifice of those that came before you, you'd be worse off than any of those you mentioned. You live in a country with schools, and malls, and jobs, and one that has not been raped and then abandoned by other cultures for centuries. You live in a country where you can order food on your phone, have it delivered to your house, and then give them a scrap of paper as compensation for their product and services. You live in a country that has had a form of structured government for centuries, and through that structure you have freedom and access to pursue what ever you want. The vast knowledge of the world is yours to obtain through google, libraries, schooling, and lack of local wars and militia, and yet YOU, the great white/Asian human have invented NOTHING but criticism. Now don't get me wrong, you don't OWE anybody anything for this privilege other than gratitude. gratitude that great men did great things, and you get to count yourself amongst the lucky few that get to enjoy the fruits of their labor, but when you reference them don't count yourself amongst them until you yourself have done something YOURSELF to earn the gratitude of others.
@chris becker the thing is the asians pulled them selves up by simply watching and imitating westerners and they have even done some cool stuff of their own. no one is expecting these people to invent nuclear power by themselves the thing is we have all this knowledge in the world that exists and they are barely able to even master the wheel when it is shown to them yet alone do anything for themselves. in only a few decades i belive it is HongKong they went from a seriously poor 3rd world fishing village to an extremely wealth city nearly all on their own.
are you serious? first of all china has one of the oldest governments in the world. and if by imitating westerners you mean slave labor and outside financing (from outside hong kong itself), then yes you're right, they did do that. Then again Europe wasn't there ruling them and taking their resources until the late 1970's either. The problem with Africa is that all of their resources now require too much capital to obtain and the people are struggling just to get by. This is why they're welting down wheels instead of mining for aluminum. No other countries really want to help because it would take a large military presence to stabilize the country. Also the amount of child soldiers in Africa would be a huge negative PR issue for most countries. Then you have the amount of resources needed to bring the country up to a profitable entity and most countries just write them off as not worth it. its easy to compare countries until you realize you're comparing apples to oranges.

With the resources and knowledge of you who are saying this so bad why don't you make suggestions how to make it safer. There are groups like doctors without boarders, why don't you who know what they should be doing create a group who can go there and teach them safety. Maybe convince them not to patch bad pour jobs.
Смотрел про индуса и вьетнамцев работают без брака. Здесь понял как льётся сужающаяся к горлышку форма и что эти деятели из Лимпопо ещё этот брак умудряются замаскировывать и пихнуть.)))
You know, if these aluminum crafter guys would get together with the guys in Uganda building airplanes out of steel pipe and sheet metal, they might have something.

They were making steel 3000 years ago. Then whole world has changed. The junk is avilable every where. The Aluminium is a costly metal other than Copper. The finished product is marketable locally.
Dear Sir: I have been requested by the Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for Aluminum Pot exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equaling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company is desirous of Aluminum Pot exploration in other parts of the world, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region. You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds as directed by the Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company. In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Aluminum Pot Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount. Thanks.
when I come to Nigeria, I will build a whole infrastructure. build houses for the poor. not shacks and two-story. and electricity to every home. + water.
Is aluminum oxide toxic? Inhalation Pulmonary toxicity Because metallic aluminium has an high affinity for oxygen, exposure to aluminium dust usually also involves exposure to aluminium oxide. ... Smokers are at greater risk of pulmonary complications from aluminium dust as they have a reduced ability to clear inhaled particles from the lungs.
Actually its really hard job but not safe to cook in this pot still i say if your buying such pot don't bargain as you see its so hard to make it plus child labor behind this we should pay them the asked price for such pot but don't use for cooking food its good if u want to boil or store the water
