It’s a Fl Death Penalty case. They only need 8 out of 12 jurors to vote DP. And I can’t see ANY reason for a plea. The defense will most likely say they don’t want to put the family through a trial. No ma’am. I want Jenn Soto to live/relive every second of what Madeline had to suffer through. She shouldn’t get a pass. Plus the prosecution’s case is a slam dunk IMO.

It could may be because police needs the boyfriend to be convicted? And after that they can concentrate on the mother. In my opinion I believe they are still building the case trying to see where she was involved. I believe that's why they resetting the case to charge her as well. I truly hope they can get something because, I believe she was involved as well.

She's doing the Chris Watts shuffle. Everything about those 2 seems fishy. Now that we know the disgusting acts that he committed--I think the mom had at the very least has some guilty knowledge. As far as i know, SS hasnt shown up to any hearings yet. No doubt due to shame. Id be shocked if he went ahead with a jury trial instead of accepting a plea deal. The shame would over take him if he sits through a jury trial. All the pics/videos of what hes done to her..pfft..
Yes, the mother seems to be too aloof to not know what was going on. But thats what predators do. They manipulate parents. Children have been abused right in front of their own parents eyes and they havent noticed a thing until its been reported. But who knows?

Victims take years... sometimes decades before they come forward. Fear, trauma and shame prevents a lot of victims from coming forward. Some shut down and some speak up.
I saw Nancy Grace talking about this case on her show. She found that a document said she told the counselor that Sterns made her uncomfortable on at least a couple of occasions. Shock and awe was not looked into

I don't think I'm asking for a perfect world just want more of us to be able to communicate start a dialog with our children with open minds and open hearts.

I wonder how many crimes were committed before cameras ect. Like he could've easily gotten away with this in the early 1970's ect. So many people went missing, including children and the police had no clue what happened or couldn't get the evidence to charge anyone.

A judge can command an appearance with what we lovingly call, "a drag order". But really that's up to the presiding judge to issue and usually not done. The last drag order on a big case I recall was for Harmony Montgomery's sorry father who refused to appear at her murder trial.

She wasn't at work, she was at home sleeping (allegedly) when her daughter was killed. Stefhan Sterns is jobless and Jenn worked for Disney, but very few hours, she wasn't working much at all. They were able to live in a nice neighbourhood thanks to Jenn's wealthy parents, the nice condo where they lived belongs to Jenn's father

I saw another episode where his emails from jail to his father were displayed. He talked about all his collections of expensive "minis" of different kinds. He had money for that, so he got it from somewhere, and it obviously wasn't from working..
Wow incredible I can't believe they allowed Stepan Stearns. Not to appear in his two court hearings and then now they allow him to not appear to his pre-trial that's incredible. If they continue to allow him to do this he will never appear in any of his trial court cases

If you read the released documents she was found wearing jeans. She was on her side and flies were already visible on her. Mom only said she was wearing black shorts because it was gym day and that’s what she was supposed to be wearing.

Why is the media suddenly ignoring the fact that mother said she last saw her on the morning before school, not the night before. Also in the interview, she to further prove that she saw her on the MORNING she went missing, she gave a description of what she was last wearing as well. Why is it suddenly the media is trying to only focus on the pedo? I do think she took her daughter’s life and he disposed of the body. They were both involved but it’s easier to focus on the him because he’s a pedo, so the other abuser can walk free and get rich of her crime, just as Casey Anthony did.
