hello mam, liked the way you explained each nd every bit. But can you explain what is a 'Motif'? I want to know more about the Indian art. Am totally new to Madhubani art.
Motif is any kind of figure or pattern made in an artwork. For instance if you are making a painting, a flower is a motif, or leaf is a motif. So in general any figure is a motif. I hope this clears your doubt.
