I needed this thank you. Ps quick confession: I am scared that if the beautiful women in this community saw my edges they would tell me with attitude to fix them. I am biracial (dad is black, mom is white) and my mom always did my hair as a kid. I thank lord Jesus that my parents are still happily married❤️ I never learned how to do my edges so i’m learning myself but I don’t really like the way it looks. I want to do my daughter’s edges right when she grows up. My husband likes to practice on my hair so he can do our daughter’s hair and she looks so cute when he does her hair :). I also have a son and I am just thankful for my life in Jesus name amen. God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. John 15:13 says, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." We all sinned.....Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Sin is very serious and God doesn't love sin. Sin only leads to death. Romans 6:23 says,"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." We all deserve hell but, we don't have to go to hell. Jesus made a way. You see, God is so loving, so merciful, so graceful, and so caring that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for OUR sins. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Jesus lived a perfect life in the flesh that none of us could ever live. Jesus never sinned, He is perfect, He is holy and righteous. Jesus took the punishment for our sins because He loves us so much. He died for all of us. He died for the whole world. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead 3 days later, and went back to Heaven. Only Jesus Christ can save you. John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." We must be born of water and of the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5 says "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." We don't have to go to hell. Jesus made a way. He wants a relationship with us. He loves us so much. Come to God! His arms are wide open!! He wants us to accept Him, live for Him, and turn away from our sins. The gift of salvation is free. Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:10 says, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Okay if you wanna be saved, say this prayer OUT LOUD where you are. Believe in your heart what you're saying!! Say….. Heavenly Father, I come before You today in Your Son's Name Jesus Christ. God, I am a sinner and I need You. Jesus, please forgive me of the sins I have committed. I repent and turn away from those sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins, rose from the dead 3 days later, and went back to Heaven. Jesus, please save me! Come into my heart! Wash me and cleanse me with Your blood that was shed for me. I accept You Jesus into my life! Be my Lord and my Savior. I give You my heart and soul!! Jesus, I ask that You will fill me up and baptize me with Holy Spirit! Thank You for loving me and caring for me and thank You for saving me!! Jesus, You are Lord! Now, I have one more question. Just because Jesus died on the cross for your sins and He can forgive you, does that mean you should continue to sin on purpose? The answer is NO. We shouldn't continue to sin on purpose just because Jesus can forgive us. But if you do sin, go back to Jesus and ask for forgiveness and turn away from that sin. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ⁹ Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Matthew 16:24 says, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
