"Danse Macabre" is a chanson composed by Camille Saint-Saëns with poetry written by Henri Cazalis. This piece is more recognizable as it's original source material: Op.40, a tone poem for orchestra by the same name. This raunchy song depicts a scene late at night where the dead rise at the sound of Death's violin to dance and relive their ancient pleasures once again before the sun rises.
