I just synchronized this with two sets of headphones, playing this out of my phone and the original Muse version out of my iPod at the exact same time, and the harmonies were just...I nearly cried it was so beautiful and amazing.

These guys are fantastic live! I saw them in February with my Mother and we didn't want the show to end. Spot on harmonies with bass that could launch a rocket. I highly recommend seeing The Sing Off concert.

He did. I auditioned for them earlier this year, and all candidates had to hit that low Bb. Not as easy as it seems.

If it's simply laying out the notes on sheet music you're looking for though then Musescore is pretty good and it's free. So it just depends on what you're looking for exactly. If you're looking to record a professional arrangement then the 2 main programs are (Logic Pro X and Pro Tools), but they're pretty expensive, especially Pro Tools.

Just listened to this again, and there is something so soul-satisfying watching and listening to people who are gifted perform so well. I had the pleasure to meet these guys after a killer performance in Napa and they are so nice. Real, humble guys who clearly love what they do. They make it look easy, but to achieve those perfect harmonies must take a lot of "unpractice." ;) Thanks guys!

Coming back to this song after a few years and i have to say you guys perfected it with this one. Yeah, i'm going to be honest, i discovered this because of Adam Chance's bassline but everything, from the build-up, to the arrangement, to the harmonies. Just everything here works, it sounds fantastic and i can't get enough of it!

how is it Adam (the bass) range goes to at least A1, yet his speaking voice isn't too low??

+Daryl McKay The correlation between speaking voice and vocal range when singing isn't that tidy. Adam's got the chops and physical capacity to sing bass, but it's a matter of his reaching down to that level not his everyday voice naturally laying in that range.

Your speaking voice is just where your vocal folds tend to be a rest. the only correlation between speaking voice and range is that fact that your speaking voice is generally(as long as you don't speak in vocal fry) in your vocal range.
