THE CRUISE back in the nineties was sooooo much fun. Great to see it again. Thank you.

I remember doing this the Chelsea cruise with my mates in the mid 80's every last Friday of the month in spring and summer in our stags,and mark 1 capri GXL's ,and e21 and 2002 bm's ,glad see it's still going on ,more variety of car here now.

Some real beauties there. A hundred times better than the generic boxes nowadays. Brilliant!

Awesome video! I had no idea Chelsea was back up and running. Went every month from late 80s-mid 90s, a mate said it was going again about 5/6 years back, so I nipped over and there was about half a dozen cars! Good to see there’s a decent turn out again...

Ahhh the A3 northbound.. around the early 90's fondly remember the clutch release bearing in my beloved Escort mk2 detonating at tolworth towers but I stayed in the lead all the way to roehampton ... however after knocking into neutral at the traffic lights at shannon corner it was always going to be 'get out and push now'. Stowed the car and carried on to the Cruise all the same in a friends car and it was a top night... as they always were. Happy Times and Great People 😊

Oh how I’d love a classic ford. Anglia, escort, cortina, Capri, Sierra, owt they look timeless. Only think a 1600E will ever be within reach down the line for me, prices are mental! :p Being 17 and currently looking at 1.2 fiestas definitely shows there is a long way to go, but one day fingers crossed. Used to attend some of the first Chelsea cruises back in the mid '70's. The whole custom/hot rod thing was just getting going then. Days of Richard Whales fabulous Herald and John Baldachinos Ford Pop panel van. Real stars back then. I used to drive a mildly customized Vitesse. Glad to see it is still going on. As long a people behave themselves and are not a danger to anyone it's a bit of harmless fun and quite a spectacle. I do remember the police had to do their due diligence and address the complaints from some of the residents off the Kings Rd. Glad to see 45 years later it's still a thing. Hats off to the authorities for letting it roll. Only the most egregious anti social behavior needs to be nipped in the bud, then with any luck it'll continue for another 45 years for (nearly) all to enjoy.

Looking at this reminds me of just how "Bland" our cars were back in the 60's and 70's. We used to sell all this stuff back then, and very few of them turned me on so to speak. I have always been a "Fan" of the American "Muscle Cars" from the late 60's thru to the early 70's. They were much more stylish, and had that "Wow Factor" than no boring Escort or Capri, or most of the other British cars could ever have. OK, US cars back then may have been too big and thirsty for our roads, but they certainly were better looking and turned alot of heads.
