No paid actors no fake props or costumes just genuine fans that travelled from far and wide to be involved with a band they love a band that has entertained this nation and most of the world for years. I can't believe this video is 10 years old. Seems like just yesterday !

totally surreal experience, am between Chris and Mike at 24 seconds in the red dress and black hat, totally amazing, things like this don't happen to normal people in real life but it did, when the guy came over and asked if we would like to be in the video my daughter said she never seen anyone move so fast. thanking the band, been a fan since 1979, absolutely wonderful experience, wonderful men , very chatty with us, wonderful gig in evening, , just the business, thank you Madness xx

People think 'Our House' is such a simple song that only says "Our house! In the middle of our street" all the time. But in reality, there's more to this song that makes it so amazing in my opinion with it's piano beginning, trumpets, violins and sung details of the actual house. And the parts besides the main tune - especially the beginning with the piano and the rapping-esc part of the song - are my favorite sections actually. The song is a complicated piece full of intricately played instruments each with their own part that come together to make what is in my opinion one of the most catchiest songs of all time!

I saw Madness in New York (Irving Plaza) around 1979 - still recall it as one of my favorite concerts. Oh that rhythm!

Clearly, the making of this video was a real labor of love. I have watched it several times, in the last few days, and I am just amazed. Thank you .

Before I knew who they were I always would see Madness stickers everywhere. I wondered why this band was so popular. Now I know. They are really something special.

Long live Madness, truly the greatest band in the world... ever!! Sometimes,when I haven't heard a song for a while, I actually start to feel unwell. I honestly think that Madnesslessness is a very real syndrome. Not very nice, y'know? So, boys and girls, make sure that you have regular doses of that nutty sound .... COZ IT'S GOOD FOR YA!!!!!!!!!

Here in 2022......this song to me means family and the 'madness' of a typical day in the life of that family...... I grew up in a house in the middle of the street with the same madness minus the dad lol..... This group {or family ❣️} has been part of my life since I 1st heard them many, many moons ago... May they keep going for as long as they can 😊❣️

Hi Saints Yeah, I feel your pain.Despite not being at the Ally Pally gig, Madness are my life and all members remain (in my head anyway), close personal friends. But please do remember that the band did take the time out to record this for the fans, with the fans. Woody had been at the Dublin Castle earlier in the day signing autographs with his brother and their band "The Magic Brothers". Not sure why Carl was absent however the rest of the band had to prepare (sound check etc) for the night
