90% of the animation was finished in 3 days but adding details dragged the release down Salterino did the sounds: / @salterino3146 Movie files: www.mediafire.... Music: - The Comet is Coming - Blood Of The Past figure the rest out scrubZ
4:33 I just noticed the gun falling out of his shirt at the end. He wasn't accepting his death; he was about to pull out one last trick. Took me way too long to notice that.
Oh boy, I actually adore how this collab turned out. A somewhat tragic tale of a deal gone wrong, that turned out to have probably been a setup just to get the protagonists killed. And while they fought back as hard as they could, they were simply too overwhelmed by the sheer amount of bodies that were being thrown at them.
I... hate it it’s still really amazing but it’s really a shame about the characters. It feels like Reservoir dogs. But more fight then new way of storytelling.
@@mentelgen3274 Madness, it's mostly fighting than narration and storytelling, really. Of course, there is probably a reason on those 3 guys being there, who they were before and whatnot, but it just shows a setup, leading to them dying, which is probable seeing how many there were.
it sucks because i see no-one talking about this, but during the quiet parts that have the main characters, you hear an audible music chord that is basically saying "A main character on screen is about to die" that happens for the sniper, and the white coat. its these details that i love so much about y'alls work, keep it up for the following years to come guys.
Yeah this is true, FIRST dead was like some seconds before some high sound or angelical or sum and the second one before was low sound after got hit by the shotgun and then Sniper again high sound kinda angelical and the last one i could not hear it
also when the guy with the glasses (idk his name) at 0:47 one of that could be heard, but the sound was mostly silent because of the music making it not very noticable that mightve ment he was going to die soon
I enjoy how Beard and Suit very clearly have their own fighting styles, with Beard relying on bodyweight and forcing enemies outside of gun range to close with him while Suit is almost manic in his movements, overpowering his enemies with speed and creativity.
3:35 Homie was good, not good enough to remember the first rule of sniping - Change location often. The longer you stay in one place, the higher chance your enemy has to pinpoint your location.
2:35 I'm really unsure as to what it is, but there is something I just LOVE about these two mobsters! They both look so cool, and I suppose they give off an almost Western feeling, with the knife and single-action revolver. The fight with them is fast but still so intense and awesome! Great job to everyone who worked on this absolute masterpiece
Amazing job , especially considering that multiple animators had to animate their own part while keeping it consistent in each clip , and under 3 days .
As soon as I heard in the beginning "I'll hold them off", I knew they ain't some plot-armored grunts with superpowers that WILL survive in the end, it's normal grunts that will TRY to survive until the end. Plus cool details and the whole picture makes this a total masterpeice.
The action, arts, storyline, and the animators are pretty great for a short movie. Salty really did a good job being unique at being a sound artist as always.
i love how at 2:18 you can see the laser from the sniper shake a bit after the guy with the glasses dies, it's as if the sniper is angry at himself for letting that happen
@@BEBIENDOCAFE Aiming a sniper is hard, especially when you are in what they call "tunnel vision" which basically means that you just see everything you can, but you dont bother to look anywhere else, The sniper dot was extremely close to his friend, he was also probably zoomed in so he could check on Mr Beard, but alas he missed one enemy and his friend was shot down so easily just like the ones he killed
You would think, with the amount of snipers in fiction not having someone guard their backs when out shooting at something, they would at least lock the door or at least try to use form of security?
God DAMN, I've always wanted to see an expanded anatomy on grunts playing in on how they died; and what better animators to implement this idea than you guys? Truly magnificent, you are all amazing.
Protagonists Kill Counts: The Bearded One => [16] ////////////////. He is the first protagonist dead after the "exchange". The Sniper => [9] ////// (he kills the one that killed The Bearded One) /// (two aren't shown but he didn't miss a single shot from the start, so). His murder is the second death of a protagonist that has lived more than 30 seconds. The Runner => [30] ////////////////////// (that one was probably already dead but he assigned a final head-blow) ////////. This final and very skilled protagonist is killed by the same guy that killed The Sniper). Correct me if I'm wrong !
this is the perfect way to make a good short movie in madness, it's stupidly cool what everyone achieved here, and i don't know my english is bad, but i'm not seeing people talking about the cool soundtrack here, it matches the environment perfectly and the way that presented the main music was one of the best I've seen so far. kryy i hate you but i admire you too much in same time.
my favorite thing about madness combat animations is how the animators find different and interesting ways to kill a person. I just like the aspect of the main character having to improvise in most situations.
its crazy how much work yall put into these little movies at 3:51 you can see a grunt having trouble putting a mag into his gun, so much detail was put into this!!!
i love how all the enemy grunts have their own 'Uniqe' clothes like theirs no sense of uniformity among them other than doing shit when money is on the table, like who knows one guy could be an actual enemy the next could just be some Sob civ trying to pass by.
3 months of delays but its finally here, cant wait to see the premiere And here’s to hoping it’s actually the movie and not an April fools joke Holy shit it was real!!! Incredible work everyone :D
Finally, a madness combat animations where the protags aren't op. Animation and music are a 10, the SFX for guns and knives are top tier as well. Good job!
This is AMAZING!! i cant describe how well everything is made, To be honest one of the greatest things ive ever seen Madness related, AMAZING Job and As i said, i fucking love it
For a 3 day colab, this is really, really good. The combat feels more raw and almost amateurish in a way which sounds like an insult but that's why I love this so much. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to see very fast and choreographed action, but you're seeing it from the protagonist who rarely get hit and can tank the shots made at them. Here it feels like there's more weight to it. These people might have been professionals but they're not Masters at kung fu, melee combat or gun Foo. And at the end of the day, they might have been able to take out a handful of amateurs, but they're still dealing with a entire Army of them. There was only two videos I've seen where the protagonists die, it was a mass collab that I can't remember the name of. But even then it still felt like what I previously mentioned. I would love to see more of this type of raw and almost amateurish combat. Damn good job with this collab, you and your team
The fact that at 4:12 , the main character misclicked on the second grunt in the left after killing him, this probbaly shows how realistic it is for the main character to easily mess up.
This animation was just absolutely incredible. Not only was the music just a chef's kiss with the timing and well done mix, the sound effects, visuals, and even story was just non-stop entertaining. I love seeing this kind of stuff
epic. im still watching it like every day i love this. the small details like when my fav character (the man with a nice beard) dies, you see the laser from the sniper wiggles in anger, ABSOLUTELY REVOLUTIONARY
Love how these three characters aren’t Mary sues/gary sues. They do actually struggle in fights and their injuries actually affect their performance in combat.
The amount of detail put into this is - heh - mindblowingly insane. Down to the vest impact at 3:04. He actually got knocked back, and - from my POV - got a bit exhausted from the contact knocking the wind out of him.
This is amazing! I like how the sniper is giving them backup and the actions is still going though the scope. You know what happens to smokers in the Madness world.
That little tie adjustment at the end is interesting and I also like looking into things too much so I think it could mean a few things 1. its an anxious tic of the character’s to adjust his tie so in that moment he did it without thinking 2. He knew he was dead so he wanted to compose himself one last time as an insult to his killers 3. He was going to attempt a negotiation for his life and wanted to look presentable
