I love the way she uses her spine. I’ve seen other dancers perform this who were very stiff. She’s not afraid to use her entire body, and that sets her far above other performers who attempt this variation.
She uses her back and her arms beautifully. I kept getting distracted by her shoes - its almost like one of them was sliding around on her because it didn't fit properly.
The maturity level in this is off the charts. What a lovely presentation. I could not tell this was her dancing on a ranked stage; just imagine being on a level rehearsal floor.
Ah, finally! A high quality version of this impeccable work of art. Even still, Sugai-san breathes artistry. She completely understands what is going on, and her dancing communicates this. What a gem!!!
WOAH! This was deserving of the grand prize. With the exception towards the end, it seems like she was much more comfortable than in the Finals. Very beautiful. Sugai-san, you deserved the win! I hope to see you dance on stage one day!!
She has such amazing control! And her balance is outstanding! Like, to be able to do those kinds of port de bras and maintaining such central balance is quite amazing.
I think this variation shows strongly the line of body. Her body doesn't seem to have the advantage for this variation but when she started to move, I've forgot her negative body condition. Her pas is very clear and I feel a lot of energy from her. I really love her dance!
@@notyolanda1429 No. I mean the length of arms and legs like russian ballet dancers. Classic ballet needs to show beautiful lines. But her dance makes me forget it.
@@notyolanda1429 You're right, he has non-ballet forms, shorter legs, the feeling that he is ballet overweight because the stage is enlarging. Lots of mistakes. But it is very artistic.
I’ve never seen this version of the variation before and i even though i think i like the other version better she was so graceful that it made me watch till the end💕
It's been 10 years and I am still annoyed that she did not get silver/gold medalist!she executed the piece beautifully not only technical wise but also artistically, hope she's thriving as a dancer nowadays
genuinely one of the best people i’ve seen in a competition before. she was not just born out of the womb with perfect lines and everything; all of this was through years and years of hard work and not just luck. her turnout is INSANE. in a falli towards the back corner, her foot is still turned out towards the audience. and her legs and arms weren’t born with the most ideal length, but her muscles know how to control them to give them the perfect illusion of such length. and that fluidity and control! everyone else doing this variation stays en pointe for the pique-rolldowns in the beginning for less than 0.1 seconds, but not sugai. she floats in that position for a good half second before softly landing. actually breathtaking.
Un lasciarsi andare Lene all'euritmia melodica riconducendo i passi a musica anche in eundo sulle punte.Impressione ottima di leggerezza eterea .Ottima enfatizzazione al fine dell esecutività. MOLTO BRAVA.BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO
