B's take on "not knowing" is exactly what I experienced with my own midlife crisis. Now I see it as an ultra necessary moment in the evolution of a human being. The midlife loss of our identity is essentially to reconfigure who we will be become in the future. It is so overwhelming at the time it is happening because there not enough resources around WTF is actually happening to us. It's a rebirth and reexamination that requires the utmost patience with ourselves. It's even more brutal if you're a self identifying creative because you will loose your purpose and perspective on the journey. Let it happen and go into the unknown. ❤ love you.

I think it's funny that people think that this woman is being her authentic self and that the clothes and costumes she wears which obviously are very contrived are somehow a reflection of liberation and not caring about what people think when it is all for other people. I was really hoping that when she was asked so "So who are you" ? that she was going to surprise me with some spiritaul knowledge or understanding that she is not any of the labels, clothes, ideas and thoughts that she has about herself which are very typical of a impersonalist and someone who does not realize we are all souls and we are all connected to one another just as we are all going through the very natural process of birth, aging, disease and death. I can understand that in her career based on false images and contrived clothes, make-up and accessories to present a particular fashion forward or cool look, that she would be very caught up in her body and the aging process, because in such a shallow business where it is all about youth and beauty aging must be really difficult when everyone is looking at you and judging you on your look and appearance to determine if your that cool stylist that they want to dress them. 50 is mid life, it is definately a different phase in life and yes you physically change a lot but she is hardly visaully dealing with the effects of aging. She should enjoy the next few decades and hopefully come ot realize that she is not any of the things she thinks she is and that we are all part and parcel of a supreme creator.
