I love that she included the song because it’s my all time fav of hers but I don’t understand why the performance has a boxing theme? I mean I know it’s a nod to the Girle show performance but I have no idea why the boxing was there either. Am I missing something? It would be so much cooler if the performance was just S&M inspired

Not really sure why she couldnt sing this live, she could have at least done the verses, it's just gentle slow paced rap after all. Lip syncing makes live performances look so lackluster and amateur to me. But she looks really good here!
I could be wrong, but I don’t thing she has ever sung erotica live. Not even at her girlie show tour. I think it’s just one of those songs where you can’t really replicate the studio vocals. I know the song is pretty much just her talking in a low, raspy tone. I think it would sound really corny if any artist tried talk as if they were having phone sex over the mic hahaha
@@ShantimertangiErotica on both Confessions and MDNA were both live, but both were remixes that did not use the spoken versus. So you are correct-as far as the spoken versus go, she’s never done them live and most likely for the reason you mention-it would be difficult to recreate the sultry vocal in a live setting.
@@NOVELBITES We dont need a lecture on what tours she sung the song live or not thank you. That is irrelevant. If she cant sing the song live, then dont put it in the set list, simple as. Its not exactly one of her best songs. Just a lazy ass tour and she hardly sung any of it live. She lip synced 80%, so what is the justification for that? Other than she just cant sing anymore

No one goes to an American Idol audition to sing this. It is not meant for live performances. She can sing it live. But that would be tacky and she aint Taylor Swift.
