tbh, the 1st time i saw this ending i was quite underwhelmed. seeing it live was SO different. i literally had chills all over my whole body. you know, i'm quite a young fan of m and started to discover her discography ab 2 or 3 years ago, watched her movies, live performances, interviews, literally 'studied' her. seeing this ending, all her dancers wearing iconic outfits of her past, marching around the platform m stands on is a religious experience. this show was so clever and well thought out and her energy?! unmatchable! love you m
The ending isn't bad, but I think we are so used to seeing the stage go dark at the end of her shows or something big that this seems a tad underwhelming.its not horrible, but not up to Madonna standards.if she ended it sorta like Blond Ambition with a sing a long but with everyone singing the chorus of Music like at Live 8, and one by one the Madonnas exit the stage leaving her til the end, that would be cool.
I believe at the end has nothing exactly to “celebrate”, the whole concerte she is celebrating her life career but at the end she is not longer the same, she won’t be able to sticky around for that longer. She can’t even dance like she used to, body have limitations now. She can’t give to us like did before because of age limitations. I think the opening and closing of the show is all about this. At the end’s, nothing really matter
I literally said 'that is it?' after Celebration ended. Could have picked a better closing song. It's pretty cool to see the recreated iconic costumes though if you've followed her long enough to remember when they came and went.
I feel the same way about the concert's ending. When I reflect on the MDNA tour, the climax with "Celebration" was so captivating that it set really high expectations for me. Given that she chose the same song for this tour, I was eagerly anticipating a grand finale. What particularly stood out to me in a negative way was that Madonna didn't seem inclined to sing "Celebration" properly during the finale. It came across more as playback, which feels out of place for an artist of her calibre. I saw her on the opening night at the O2 and given there were some mic issues, I initially thought Madonna covered her head with a veil out of frustration with the sound problems. However, I've come to understand now that everything went as intended, and she wasn't actually meant to sing, a choice that doesn't sit right with me when it's the grand finale. The ending had all the ingredients to be unforgettable. Just imagine the volume turned up, every dancer moving with unrestrained enthusiasm, and Madonna pouring her soul into the song - that would have made for a perfect finale. Instead, it felt as though Madonna had resigned, leaving the conclusion a tad underwhelming for me. Like others said it is not bad, but the way she finished the MDNA tour was way better than this.
yep.. this ending is a step down from Madame X which had a proper encore with I rise. Full out dramatic exit. I'm not sure why this one is so short and with underwhelming exit.
I miss the fierce Madonna looks from the opening of The Blond Ambition Tour and The Who's That Girl Tour. They were iconic. And it's just wrong they're not here 🤐
It's not about her singing it's not about her dancing it's about the fact the woman is still alive and did more with her life than the majority of people on this Earth!! When she dies she will be a legacy of what she created. 🙏
She needs to play more sings of the Virgin era right after the Michael Tribute: A mix of Like A Virgin, Material Girl, Angel and Dress You Up. And i change for the close number Rescue Me!! 😅
She left out a bunch of big iconic hits that should've made the set and some that haven't been done in years. No covers if it's a greatest hits tour. No long dance breaks except for a feature and enough between costume changes. I want Frozen too! Some songs done were barely a line. More medleys could fit in more songs. Entertainment Weekly said 40 songs. If you count the songs in the medleys it's 34 tops. I was at the last tour and it was awesome minus a few songs I thought for sure she would do. I'm a casual fan, but her live show productions are so good and she's one of the greatest music and style reinventors. Love that. Not sure why I didn't go to the tour before last. I think they either sold out or were too much.

Maybe it's due to England's curfew that she isn't able to end the whole show properly. Once she moves on to the next city, we might see an additional closing.
@@davidpearson6346 curfews might be ridiculous but she booked the venue knowing there was a curfew. She could have started an hour earlier or chosen another venue.
I still feel that the ending needs to be changed. Just to end it like that? It leaves you a bit underwhelmed. It's like watching a great movie, but once we get to the ending, it doesn't deliver that final punch. We probably need one or two more hit songs to really make the place erupt and end it with a bang.
The ending is the worst part of the show, not as an act itself but exactly because this is set to be the ending while it doesn't feel like it... unclimactic, it neither feels like a HUGE celebration that would make it a good ending, neither it is moving or anything special, if I was there I would be waiting for her to come back and sing one last song... its a bit cheap for her standards and for any good show standards. While she really makes a great entrance in the end seems like she doesn't care to leave a strong aftertaste of the show, and the ending can save or ruin a show's final feeling
Madonna fans are her age like with the rolling stones or about ten years younger or older like with the rolling stones .She is good looking to people who are her age appropriate age groups too!🎉
PERFECTO, ESPECTACULAR AMAZING EXTRAVAGANZA INCREÍBLE, SENSACIONAL LO MEJOR DE LA HISTORIA DE LA MÚSICA TE AMO MADONNA LA MEJOR DEL 🌌 UNIVERSO ERES TU SOLO TU Y SIEMPRE TU
Madonna is sexy to the baby boom people who are her fans mostly. They were all together when they were born . They'll stick together until they die as a group. Madonna is a baby boom generation rock 🌟 Star .She is a Baby Boomer generation girl
People have been complaining about the end of the show being abrupt (not counting show 2) but i thought it was good, i thunk the whole shiw is an absoloute spectacle, at ither shows i have felt at parts a littke bit underwhelmed however, this was fantastic from start to finish
Really great actually, the check in and vip merch was all very smooth and hassle free and good quality items. In London the staff were so friendly and helpful and excited to be part of the experience, they give you a drinks token which is a lovely souvenir so don’t spend it on a cocktail, you’ll want to keep it and the bar is free anyway. They brought round food, had a Hard Candy shop where you can get a free bag of sweets including celebration branded M&Ms. You’ll have a great time and pit 2 is a winner!!
I see now what those who've mentioned it ends abruptly mean. This deserves a grand finale and with no lip syncing. It's forgivable here and there because you do hear her sing several times, but for a final song, c'mon. Hopefully, some changes by the time 2nd leg starts. Maybe changing out the awful Bitch, I"m Madonna with Celebration there (which will allow for some lipsyncing and won't feel too awkward there), then do an actual live sung Take A Bow, Keep it Together, Who's That Girl, or Spotlight??
She telling her fans she won't be able to do the shows she used too her mobility is poor her body is breaking down we don't stay young forever unfortunately she can't deliver like she used too and for her age 65 we need to tighten our mouths the womans been entertaining her fans for 4 decades.
I went to the 18/10 show. We left just as this was starting to run for the last train, so I didn't miss much then! I don't know why it wasn't longer with a good mash up with Music and have more of an ending. Its a bit like Bitch I'm Madonna really was the last song and this was just a short bit just to get it in as the show is called Celebration. It's a bit of a shame.
So many comments saying this opening and closing at not up to madonna standards, tbh I do not agree. I believe that at the end, there is nothing exactly to 'celebrate.' Throughout the concert, she is celebrating her career and her life, but in the end, she is no longer the same. She won't be able to stick around for much longer. She can't even dance like she used to; her body has limitations now. She can't give to us as she did before because of age limitations. I think the opening and closing of the show are all about this. In the end, “nothing really matters, love is all what we Need” bitch I’m Madonna.
Fortunately I saw her when she still could dance and sing live. This is a nice farewell tour tho, where she put some of her great songs beside the latest crap she has been creating in the last years
At 65 she lost her gracefulness in dancing. So sad, because I have always seen her so active on stage during her younger years. But she is still my Queen, I love her and still support her up to this day.
Agreed. It's evident that the heavy lifting is done by her dancers in terms of razzle dazzle and on-stage fluidity. When exactly did Madonna lose the dancing vitality that she used to have? I find it hard to believe that at 65 she is "so old" that she lost her dancing ability. I mean, Chita Rivera, Toni Basil, and Tina Turner are only three examples of women who are/were amazing dancers well into their sixth decade of being alive.
@@t.e.burgos3263 her losing the dancing vitality is definitely not because of age. It's because of injuries. . . Must be hard for her, she loves dancing so much.
@@t.e.burgos3263 In case you missed it? MADONNA had new injury early September as she rehearsed for her previously postponed world tour. I guess she didn't want to let her fans down and cancel it again. Sh.. happens....
Well most of the artist end their tours super meeeh just like The Weeknd, who has a great show but finishes soooo weak, this isn’t bad but for sure we are used to the super long song were people chanted and had a big explosive moment.
You mean heterosexual men"?? Well maybe back in the early 1990's "??. She has always had Homosexual men as dancers... Very few are straight or cosplay on stage.
Great show, but to me personally was this ending rather disappointing. I’m not really a fan of “Bitch I’m Madonna” as she has so many better songs eg Give Me All Your Luvin’ which could have fully replaced it. It’s also a pity that she didn’t sing “Celebration” and it was shortened. I just think this kind of “celebration” show would deserve more powerful ending.
I like the different costumes at the end but not the song. I bought a ticket for her performance in Florida. I hope she changes it up a bit. A lot of theatrical stuff that I'm not fond of. I got a bit bored with some performances and fast forwarded. I would like to hear more of her classics. It is what it is. My nephew is coming with me and I know he'll be bored because he only knows four of her songs.
Totally agree it’s hard to criticize because I’m such a fan of hers but I wish she would get away from these costumes and drag queen show. I’m not judging to each his own I’m a gay male I’m taking my straight friend with me because nobody else would go but I’m looking forward to it. I’ve always been a fan of hers and she is the queen. But I hope she throws in some of her classic songs when she comes over to United States.
Too many clowns around her.. sometimes can’t even see where she is. She should put herself , front and forward sometimes .. and lose those dancers around her. Far too messy .
Terrible costumes and lackluster choreography. A definite step down from previous concerts. The singing quality appears to have been improved for the large part
