This is truly one of Madonna's best songs ever recorded. What frustrates the hell out of me is that if this was released 20 years ago when she was younger, it would've got the radio play it deserved and became (I'm certain) one of her biggest hits ever. Ageism is alive and well in the record industry. I understand it's a marketing thing, as young listeners (which are the bulk of the audience that purchases music) usually don't feel they can identify with an artist that's as old as their grandparent, but it truly saddens me to see it perceived as the quality of the work isn't as good or that it isn't as of high quality as in their younger years. Art has no age specification, period. If Madonna released 'Like A Prayer' today, it would receive no airplay and go relatively unnoticed. Total shame. I'm glad M sticks to her guns and just does what she wants to do, being true to herself and her art. There are fans out there (like myself) who understand all of this and do not take her or her art for granted.
but this song is genuinely isn't good, just the chorus alone is trying to be an edm dubstep banger which is trash and derivative of good pop and electronic music. I love Madonna, but she hasn't made a good album since the mid 2000s, and those albums aren't even as good as her 80s and 90s output.

Madonna is right that ageism exists and she is a victim of it. Glad to see her just carrying on regardless. Her influence has been and still is enormous and I think she has never gotten the credit that she truly deserves for the many ways in which she helped society to change the way in which women are perceived.

I don't think I've EVER heard a song that Madonna has done that has brought me close to tears. This one does. It's a beautiful song. She's an embracing soul during fearful times. And her comfort is for all of us.The world is not just a bit scary, but damn frightening and she "hits the nail on the head." I love it. God bless you Madonna xxoo P.S. Definitely the best song of them all. Her voice shines, and really draws you into the song like few do. It's so warm and comforting. (In a flawless song -- 3:16-3:26 is the moment it's made perfect).She did a LIVE version accompanied by session guitarist (joke) Taylor Swift playing acoustic guitar recently and it proved she doesn't need autotune to hit the notes or sing in key. Anyone who claims she's using autotune for this song is just proving they actually haven't a fucking clue what autotune sounds like beyond assuming that for any artist or song they don't like.
Please help team “Madonna Soldiers” request the new song in all major markets. We are hoping 25 more loyal Madonna fans will join us for the next couple of weeks in requesting “Gosttown”, “Devil Pray” and “Bitch I’m Madonna” to be added to all major markets radio play lists. “Living for Love” is already on 90% of all stations; we just need to make sure we request the song to be played with urgency each day in the comment section. I'm not a Madonna fan whatsoever (even though I really like her), but I've got to tell that from a "exterior" point of view, it seems that she's coming back stronger than ever with this new album. I love this song, and it's already playing on many french radios.
