Who mixed this? Larry? I know there were Haring videos shown in the drop down screen over the stage but I can't place this one in particular. I do remember Larry playing the shit out of Get Into The Groove and it was MUCH better than this version.
KEITH HARING MY FAVORITE GRAFFITI ARTIST OF LATE 70S,80-1990. HE met madonna in the late seventies and they were close friends. But in my opinion keith was much more talented than madonna shebwas a musician and he wqs an artist but theyre both artists. Its a shame he died so young of aids in 1990. I wonder what jed be doing today if he were still alive with all the technology a ailable to us like the internet for starters. He was a head of his time and there will never be an artist quite like Keith. Rest in peace mr haring you are a big inspiration to me and so many in the art world
Derek McGee they're different, you can't compare them and say keith was better than Madonna, they shared ideas and collaborated together, Keith, Madonna and Warhol had this close relation But were different paths.
Thinking more- there is no place except the Garage where this would have been done. Obviously a Levan/Haring collaboration, although Jellybean mixed most of early Madonna stuff. Ah, well. It's a great post.
