👐 🤲 🤝 🙏 👌🏼👌🏼 My favorite by M, the Wise Queen! You gave me back the paradise that I thought I lost for good You helped me find the reason why It took me by surprise that you understood You knew all along what I never wanted to say Until I learned to love myself I was never ever-loving anybody else
Things haven't been the same Since you came into my life You found a way to touch my soul And I'm never, ever, ever gonna let it go [Bridge:] Happiness lies in your own hand It took me much too long to understand How it could be Until you shared your secret with me [Chorus:] Mmm mmm [skip for the first two times] Something's comin' over, mmm mmm Something's comin' over, mmm mmm Something's comin' over me My baby's got a secret You gave me back the paradise That I thought I lost for good You helped me find the reasons why It took me by surprise that you understood You knew all along What I never wanted to say Until I learned to love myself I was never ever lovin' anybody else [bridge] [chorus, repeat] [bridge] [chorus, repeat] Mmm mmm, my baby's got a secret Mmm mmm, my baby's got a secret Mmm mmm, my baby's got a secret for me
I like it, but would be perfect if the Introduction of the 19th version was here... Hello all your cyber heads it's me Madonna , often imitate but never duplicated. ..
One of her most underrated songs. Beautiful, slightly mysterious (what is the secret she aludes to?) With a great use of funk sounds. A pity she has only performed it only on one tour. Then again, with a back catalogue like hers there's so much to choose from. I remember her saying she loves Falling Free from mdna but it wasn't commercial enough to be a single. She should not worry about such things and just release the songs that demonstrate her consumate artistry includinng her vocal range. At this point, she doesn't need to worry about charting or not, and who knows, these less commercial songs might actually connect rather than releasing songs that sound like she's immitating her immitators.
This was my favorite song during my senior year in high school. I remember listening to it repeatedly. I love the guitar intro and how it is so different from her songs before Bedtime Stories. In an interview, Madonna mentioned that the song is about spirituality. The video also substantiates this. It shows her getting baptised. The "baby" she sings about is herself after rebirth and the secret is that God is within all of us rather than on a pedestal.
Song by song I dont know how mj is more famous than her...song by song she beat mj to a pulp....this album bedtime stories was the end for her....she became trying to keep up and that's the mistake great artist make...keep doing your thing and forget the crap so call music of today....same happen to metallica....as soon justice tour ended so was there carrer6
