Madonna became a true artist in the 90's. She made Pop, Dance, House, Jazz, New Jack Swing, R&B, Trip hop, Lounge, Hip hop, the whole Broadway score. Her ballads were specially amazing and touching: Take a Bow, You'll See, Bad Girl, The Power of Goodbye, I'll Remember, You Must Love Me, Rain, This Used to Be My Playground, I Can't Forget, Time Stood Still, One More Chance, Something to Remember
@@hyun808 She WROTE like 75% of each song on her Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light albums. All her collaborators stated it. Or maybe you think other songwriters wrote about Madonna's personal problems, marriage, children, religion??
Even though this is obvious lip syncing of the worst kind, it remains a warm memory in my heart. The year was 1995 or 1996, and this was either the original airing on Wetten Das or a repeat not long after, and I was snuggling my German girlfriend on her couch in her and her parents house, just chilling and totally peaceful. At the time, I was an American Soldier stationed in Bamberg, Germany, and she lived in a village right outside there. It's just one of the most beautiful and harmonious moments of my life. Hearing the song years later brings tears to my eyes...
Wow, that is a great memory --- I was never in the military or met a German girl --- but in 1995 I started meeting girls off AOL chat rooms and if we had an attraction we usually ended up snuggling on the couch or enjoying a great night of sex together --- miss those times!
Take a bow, the night is over This masquerade is getting older Light are low, the curtains down There's no one here (There's no one here, there's no one in the crowd) Say your lines but do you feel them Do you mean what you say when there's no one around (No one around) Watching you, watching me, One lonely star (One lonely star you don't know who you are) I've always been in love with you (Always with you) I guess you've always known it's true (You know it's true) You took my love for granted, why oh why The show is over, say good-bye Say good-bye (Bye bye), say good-bye Make them laugh, it comes so easy When you get to the part Where you're breaking my heart (Breaking my heart) Hide behind your smile, All the world loves a clown (Just make 'em smile the whole world loves a clown) Wish you well, I cannot stay You deserve an award for the role that you played (Role that you played) No more masquerade, You're one lonely star (One lonely star and you don't know who you are) I've always been in love with you (Always with you) I guess you've always known it's true (You know it's true) You took my love for granted, why oh why The show is over, say good-bye I've always been in love with you (Always with you) I guess you've always known it's true (You know it's true) You took my love for granted, why oh why The show is over, say good-bye Say good-bye (Bye bye), say good-bye All the world is a stage (World is a stage) And everyone has their part (Has their part) But how was I to know which way the story'd go How was I to know you'd break (You'd break, you'd break, you'd break) You'd break my heart I've always been in love with you (I've always been in love with you) Guess you've always known You took my love for granted, why oh why The show is over, say good-bye I've always been in love with you (Always with you) I guess you've always known it's true (You know it's true) You took my love for granted, why oh why The show is over, say good-bye Say good-bye (Bye bye), say good-bye Say good-bye
¡¡ MADONNA!! Admiro desde que empezaste por tus composiciones en letras y música; así también por la elasticidad de bailar y tu respetuosa personalidad. Gracias por existir en mi tiempo
Cool performance! This is my fovorite madonna's smashhit. I love both the melody and the lyrics. Actually, this song is one of the best songs she ever wrote. This song will be remembered for generations to come. Thank you for posting.
I was 10 when this released and I remember a girl I had a crush on told a mutual friend that she hated my guts when she found out I liked her. This song came on the top 20 on the radio and I just bawled my eyes out knowing that my chance with this girl was over. Even to this day when I hear this song I can feel the wound in my heart like it was yesterday, shits wild.
When the Queen of Pop finally decides to retire with a farewell tour, I can definitely see this song being the last one on the setlist as the closing song.
She did, but its honestly bad af. Every part in her songs is a collection of fragments where she hit the vocals. In some songs you can even hear the cuts. She is a studio artist, but her fanatic followerers dont wanna believe this 😂 Her fan base is like an evil cult 😂
Madonna is one of the most expressive and recognizable singers. Never needed to be like Whitney Celine or Mariah. Most people in life connect more to Madonna.
That's her best performance of this song, better than the studio recording. Seems so relaxed and enjoyed every minute. By thanking anyone around her while leaving, shows how much pleased and confident felt for her performance. A true artist has these best moments and many other not very good. But just for these few moments of feeling that you have touched perfection makes you never stop reaching out for them.
This is the studio recording, you Sherlie Holmes, and it is grotesque to watch her lypsincing side by side the black guy especially, who impersonates Babyface 😂
