Cant believe her song"Everybody"is ranked 43rd in her catalog of smash hits. That song has the bump-de bump, and around 1984, 85, 86, 87 in night club across the planet when the DJ played her song EVERYBODY was on the dance floor...
I don’t have a favorite on this album because I love every song is the same. I bought this also in 92 and still play it to this day when I’m feeling low especially it really gets you feeling better and happy I am 62 now and she was my idol in the 80s. I don’t have idols anymore. I just have peoples music that I really like.
I'm 51 ! And every single time I listen to MADONNA .. I go back my 12 yrs and dance & SING out loud! Now my kids just look at me. Makes me feel MOTIVATED 🎉 & YOUNG ❤ LOVE YOU MADONNA Seeing you TONIGHT 🎶✨️❗️
My husband knew I loved Madonna when we married. He bought this CD for me, and a brand new HUGE stereo system to play it on. He said "with that kind of voice, the entire neighborhood, should enjoy it with you ". He made me a very happy woman 😊
amazing my hubby too he bought the original vinyl but goes out when i play it lolol and just saw her yesterday and damn shes still got it better than me at 16 lol
The sound is INCREDIBLE! And worthy of the QUEEN OF POP! Finalllllly MADONNA’s team did something right to celebrate her ICONIC! LEGENDARY! MASTERY! 40+ year Career!!!!
This is 1990 album. It’s the most successful greatest hits album by a solo artist in the U.K ever… still. Sold in droves! To date it’s sold over 3.7 million copies and 30 million around the world. It stayed at the top spot in the U.K for 9 WEEKS!
This was my 1st Madonna album too. I think I was about 10 yrs old when I bought it. I had bought 'Like a Prayer' as a single a year or 2 before. But this was the album that really got me into Madonna. I ended up being a huge fan for many many years (I started to listen to her newer music less after Confessions on a Dance Floor'.
I bought this album in 1992. I only had a triple decker Pioneer stereo system with huge speakers in my empty living room at that time, it was my first apartment ever. I'd come home from work and I'd blast the neighbors with this amazing record ❤. It was like being in church. Young and innocent, best time of my life . The world was so much better then. Why can't we push rewind. 😊
My granddaughter & I used to workout to all of her music, now my PRINCESS 👸 is a SENIOR this year & my princess still loves her music 🎶. When I'm all myself I DANCE TO HER MUSIC ALL NIGHT 🎉 I just celebrated my 70th birthday in September & I'm still dancing 💃
The Immaculate Collection has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling compilation album by a solo artist ever and one of the best-selling albums of all time.
One of the discs that cannot be missing in your collection. It's pure gold!. The choice of tracks is exquisite. Contains songs that were number 1 and Top 10's. That is why it is called "The Immaculate Collection". All the tracks were hits. And it is the best-selling compilation album in history by a female soloist. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN OF POP!
I always took 'immaculate collection' as a mere pun on the 'immaculate conception'. Seeing as her name is Madonna and all. Makes sense to me. A play on words sort of thing. It's actually a very smart play on words too. Linking her name and collection to Mary (Madonna) and the immaculate conception.
Me too. Sooooo excited. Will see her in Sacramento in January. I've bought her first album back when I was 18. I'm 58 now, and seeing our Queen...life...full circle for me❤
Hello, Madonna! My name is Artem! I am from Kazakhstan myself, and want to express my gratitude to you for creating such beautiful and soulful songs. Your songs are very good, clear and cool. Continue not to give up, I wish you health and patience in your life. Artem 21 years.
If you happen to be of a certain age... You will understand It's not simply music... it's the soundtrack to your life. ...and boy what a magical soundtrack it was indeed...
@@Paganforge and to think that the Toronto Police Force wanted to arrest Madonna due to the _bed/masturbation_ scene in that show when she preformed "Like a Virgin"... calling her actions being "lude and indecent in public".. Madonna stood her ground and refused to alter her show and threatened to cancel it altogether if the police did not back down... They told her that was her choice to cancel.. Madonna then rightfully told them. "I nor any of my people will be making the announcement. You can go out and tell the audience the show is not happening!" She knew full well that the fans waiting to see her would have rioted.. and rightfully so.. So the police backed down and her show went forward as Madonna had envisioned it!
Madonna is timeless, ageless, priceless. The greatest quintessential singer of all times. There will never be another like her. She is the precursor of everything a famale performer can do on stage.❤
Even as a kid in the early 2000s...this was the album that made me really appreciate just how huge Madonna's hits were in the mid 80s to early 90s. It's her best selling album ever.
Either best selling ever ot best selling for a female artist. I can't remember which. I've seen other ppl on the comments say, 'best selling female' compilation.
And isn't it funny that a compilation album caused such a scene? It's a compilation album, for God's sake, but that was the grip that Madge had on the world. I'm seeing right now in my mind the ET coverage of the word play of the title.
The most amazing greatest hits album ever. Everybody I knew had this album. It was HUGE back then. When you hear these it makes you realise why she's crowned the QUEEN. AMAZING ARTIST
Live to tell......perhaps the greatest song of all time. I'm 50 and I don't think people realise how big Madonna was. Every night club and teenage disco in the eighties had these tunes on loop. Respect forever
I'm 4 years older and still haven't forgotten the turbulence Madonna had caused during those years of her Glory! Immaculate Madonna. Madonna of Turbulence. Glorious Queenie. Erotica girlie
Im a dj and every chance I get ill mix in some Madonna im 53 now so I grew up listening to her music, brings back so many great memories. The queen of pop!
I remember getting this for Christmas around 16 years old. I lived in a small town in Tennessee. I was a rebel because I was a young man wanting to listen to Madonna!!! LOVE HER STILL. GO MADONNA and thanks for showing that young man he could live life on his own terms.
I was 12 when I got my copy of this album... Even then I knew that I was different.. Madonna was a maverick, an icon, and someone that I looked up to in those early years.. She gave me the the strength I needed to never doubt who I was on the inside and the courage to come out when I was 19... For that I will forever be in her debt. I have a feeling Madonna would just say.. if we were ever to meet "Just be true to yourself.. That's all anyone can ask.. And of course.. Absolutely, no regrets!"
Madonna! I grew up loving and listening to all of your work and watching you ever since you said your goal was to rule the world. You are the Queen of Music, Queen of Entertainment. You have achieved your goal! I am here wishing you a speedy recovery. Get well, take care of yourself, Queen Madonna.
Every time I listen to her songs I fell like going back to 12 yrs old,,I'm 51 now haha,, teens now they can have Taylor swift but I still like Madonna songs,,,dance moves she always innovate
There are many beautiful feelings that this album (The Immaculate Collection, by Madonna), makes me feel. But I can abbreviate them in two words: Happiness and Love. A timeless masterpiece. Thank you Madonna, queen of pop.

To me, this version is better actually. I would like GHV2 to be posted with the video version of Human nature, extended version of Music and above and beyond remix of What it feels like for a girl. Imagine that 😉
My GOD... THIS IS MADONNA! Please! Don't forget. Actual sound is NOT music. THIS IS MUSIC! Again, PLEASE DON'T FORGET -This is a message to you, Queen of Queens
Not a bad song in this collection. Personal favorites are Express Yourself and Open Your Heart. Madonna is the Queen of Pop and this collection proves it.
This was the album that made me a fan of you, Madonna. Bought it when I was 7 years old in 2000. Been supporting you ever since! All hail the Queen Of Pop. 👑
Thank you M, for decades of pure pop entertainment at its finest! We love you so much and can't wait to see you in the flesh on your Celebration Tour!🙌💯🎉❤💪
