I was there as a 16 year old...loved every minute, she sang live every single song, fantastic day. I even remember queuing on the steps outside and hearing her going through a soundcheck, she kept chatting to the fans even though she couldn't see them x
Holy shit! I had no idea someone actually managed to record the London show, which was identical to the Turin show. I was there, in London, as a 19 year old. 1st concert I went to since Iron Maiden in Sydney in 1985!
thanks for sharing this...I was there about 10 with my Mum... Having just seen her in London at the o2 this brought back some very happy childhood memories.... thank you
Wow this takes me back. I was there on this night. It my first ever concert. I was just 16 & I went with my best friend Jane. I still have the programe & ticket. Thanks so much for posting.
It’s funny, because if you read Wikipedia, or any articles, reviews, news clippings, etc regarding the tour, everyone was raving about the budget, and the FOUR video screens! 😂For the time, this tour was considered "cutting-edge". Video screens, or "multimedia projections", as many reported it. Basic things we take for granted on stage nowadays… for example, fast forward to 2013 I think, when Beyoncé performed at Wembley for Live Aid, the entire wall behind her was one massive screen! 🤣
God bless you, 😃❤️💕. Thank you so much. I have waited so long for this complete edit. Oh, the memories. I so appreciate your work /effort. Derek. (🙏👍😊).It was one of my favourite madonna set lists, and I used to perform it in my bedroom. Fantastic times. Derek. I still have an original program, (😁).
I was so confused wondering what the guys in the white shirts at the front of the stage were doing. Almost looks they were pulling people over the barrier to stop them getting crushed
Madonna who’s that girl tour Set list - 0:53 - open your heart 7:00 - lucky star 11:35 - true blue 16:49 - papa don’t preach 22:57 - white heat 28:56 - causing a commotion 33:30 - the look of love 38:19 - dress you up 40:35 - material girl 44:12 - like a virgin and (other songs) 49:01 - where’s the party 53:22 - live to tell 1:02:32 - into the grove 1:10:24 - la isla bonita 1:16:53 - who’s that girl 1:24:21 - holiday
Don't understand why they dropped the screens in the beginning when Madonna appears on stage. It does not allow to see what is happening there especially to those who were far away. Weird decision.
I agree, for me, it all worked, and we have to remember madonna was one of the greatest /first female stadium acts of the 20th century. And she still holds the record of the largest audience of /for a female artist. Forever your loyal subject. Derek x.❤️.
