They can have personal trainers, a good diet, even plastic surgery, top plastic surgery. That makes you lok natural and graceful. There’s a difference between growing old disgracefully (often a badge of honor) and being in denial about growing older. Madonna falls into the latter category and it’s sad to witness.

Madonna was the coolest in the 80.s I grew up listening to her... I'm about her age..let her do whatever she wants ..if it makes her happy..shes obviously loving herself and who cares really ..I think she's just trying to make herself relevant coz she has that tour coming up .. There was no reason for her to let it go. Plenty of performers perform til they are in their later years or til they die, Tito puente, Betty White, Cher, Jamie Lee Curtis, etc. the issue is not about putting it away. She got lost somewhere. It’s hard to fathom because she always loved a very clean lifestyles no drugs or anything like that practiced yoga, etc. I think this might be connected to her extreme work ethic and I don’t feel like it has anything to do with vanity. She’s been getting some form of PS since 37 yo and I feel like maybe she felt she had to do it. It sounds skewed but I don’t really see her choices coming from trying to stay young or being vain.

I did not know this was Madonna until I scrolled up enough to read the caption. I need to "adjust" to her appearance. It is disconcerting because she always gave me the impression she was comfortable with her looks.
