At this point the venezuelan government has been wasting the oil money so badly that even a thief would do less damage 😔 they already gave away most of the oil to china and Russia companies for cheap to get support and basic goods. Chavez was actually popular and did some good for venezuela even if he also did a lot of mistakes in particular spending too much and saving very little as well as scaring off foreign companies and investors by expropriating random stuff and acting like a bit too much like a communist. Maduro has the same problems as Chavez but none of the upsides, totally unable to manage the country and he is only still in power because he has allowed the top military and police officials to steal like crazy (using the special exchange rate). Maduro could not even keep the oil industry working (most of the infrastructure is crumbling cutting oil output) when even Iran and Russia that are under more sanctions than venezuela can still manage getting oil money. So he is just a failure kept afloat only by the massive corruption that he supported to keep the army and police loyal.

ICC sent over 900 staff to oversee the election. The USA makes it seem that there were two candidates running yet there were 10 candidates running and 8 of the candidates agreed with the outcome except for the one backed by the USA who received less than 13% of the vote.
Madura has done wonderful job in elctions and were pretty fair as per international observers. Look the voting system in your own country before interferring in other conutry's affairs. Venezuela should join BRICS group of South in order to improve the state and public conditions.
