During the late 1990s to early 2000s, a "Jukebox Revival" happened within the OPM industry and many new labels and artist were making songs that mimic the styles of early OPM ballads and disco from the 1970s to the early 1980s, often with suggestive lyrics. Mae Rivera's debut album "Arayyy..." is one of the finest examples, with is carrier single "Arayyy..." topping radio playlists and music charts.
