It’s a shame you didn’t get the full kit. Mine came with an 800mm rail and tilting base. It is the best jigsaw on the planet at the moment. When I brought it I though bloodyhell this is dear but now I smile every time I use it and glad I’ve got it.
I borrowed this off a mate of mine. We aren't lucky enough to have Mafell here in Australia, need to get it set over from the UK. It's super expensive but nothing comes close to it, if you need something this good, you can't argue with the price
If you are cutting in reverse with a blade in future, turn off the pendulum action, Mafell warn about this in the instruction manual, you might wear out the saw prematurely or even break it. Pendulum action can only be used going forwards. Also I noticed you used full pendulum action when cutting the curve on the 45mm timber, you would get a better finish and a little less vibration and jumping if you turned the pendulum action down a bit, maybe number two or three setting. Is your saw still in good working order and performing well ??
I too have the p1 full set with the extra base and guide rail. I love this machine there truly is nothing like it I have their plunge saw plunge router planer and the big kss 80 crosscut too all are amazingly well built heavy duty tools. Waiting for them to make this jigsaw cordless then will make the plunge into their cordless range you can buy all the kits without batteries then buy the Metabo 8.0 batteries in pairs with a fast charger.
Got a chance to use a colleagues P1CC the other day. It's no joke when paired with a CUnex blade. I use a Bosch GST 18V-LI S jigsaw and it's a beast but this was next level - even if it is corded. They do 150mm long CUnex blades for this too I notice and a tilting base attachment that works with the guide rails. Seriously considering getting one after using it. League of it's own.
I love my battery Festool Carvex, but the P1 CC is the best jigsaw I’ve owned. Especially when the jigsaw is in my hand constantly with lots of scribing to walls around skirtings and dado rails for end panels fitted bedroom wardrobes. Nice video mate, enjoy your jigsaw. 😊👍🏻
