Really cool! I love the box of roses! Too bad it doesn't open to reveal some roses you could place on the ground under his feet like in the movie. I still think that 3rd party one you reviewed a few years ago was better. Soft goods, magnetic head. That was a nice figure.
Yea that third party one is nice. But tiny too and unfortunately they didn't continue on with the endoskeleton cos I was actually looking forward to it because it was supposed to be made out of metal too.
Yea I know right? Even if they put a ball hinge joint there could have allowed him to rotate the arm from the elbow section. But unfortunately they didn't do that
@@a-dev3503 thank goodness I preordered it through bbts with that one so no money were given to them on my end. I wish they would have produced it but it might have been a license issue too
I like the figure but I am disappointed at the surprisingly limited arm articulation. The lack of swivel/rotation at either bicep or elbow really hinders posing. The reload shotgun and specific hands for that purpose are pretty much useless because his arms can't really cross in front of his body. I also don't like the gaps that open at the shoulders when you move the arms - the disruption in the silhouette of the jacket. A nice but flawed figure overall.
Lol oh yea that cocked shotgun is useless lol. Yea that was the main issue for me with that one. They could have easily changed the elbow joint to something different and be able to still retain the swivel movement of the arms. There are definitely issues with this figure but as an overall fig I still like it. Probably because I really enjoyed this movie hehe.
Indeed, there's almost no way I pass on a T2 (or T1) figure. Wish they'd gone with a different kind of elbow joint is all. I mean there are double jointed elbow types that also have swivel action, I wonder why they went with what we got, it's very limiting. We've got all these awesome accessories and hand options and yet I feel stuck with a basic museum pose because that's the way he looks best@@toys210
@@a-dev3503 yea sometimes I really don't understand how some of these decisions get made, you would think they already know how joints work and all too
Nice!! Yea I thought about getting 2 myself but I'll wait and see how I like it when I get the first one. Hopefully joints are nice and plastic not gummy
That's a really tough one. Neca one is much cheaper in price but only with ok range of motion. Mafex is expensive but better range than neca. Also the scale issue, neca is bigger in size while mafex should fit better with other 1/12 scale stuff. Personally I think I prefer mafex cos the range of motion. So you gonna ask yourself which you prefer more, range of motion or affordability since they are both good figures.
