Mafex Cyclops is NOT... | Action Figure Review 

Mostly a Mafex guy and I beg you to keep making more of these reviews! You and DAmazing are the best

i have both. Marvel legends Cyclop's body is much more proportionate and taller than the Mafex. The one thing dislike about the legends one is lack of accessories and the optic blast on the head looks like a pussy.

I honestly sold a lot of my OG ML collection (kept a few that Mafex has yet to do..) and went all in on Mafex. I loved ‘97 but I need the x-men I grew up with and that was Jim Lee X-Men.. Just glad I got enough for them to upgrade to all the Mafex figures out currently and thankfully got them at Hobby Japan before they sold out. The best part about Mafex.. is they’re the “perfect” version of the character. If you get any of these X-Men figures you won’t really ever have to get another version. And yes, that 97 Cyclops has a horrible head.. weird ass baby face/cheeks. VHS one is fine but lacking accessories.. plus has the celshading.. which you can remove with alcohol. But still a lot of hassle and extra money spent to get a perfect Legends cyclops.. and they’re charging 70+ for the VHS on 3rd party sites now.. so, may as well get the Mafex.

Yessir! This is a beast figure and I have mine with an alternate headsculpt with the cowl. Love this figure and it was an automatic must have for me.

I'm holding out hope that the model kit company Modoking makes one of Cyclops, their Bale batman looks amazing and their comic Miles Morales has so much potential.

You planning on getting the Jim Lee Mafex Magneto? Also Lighting collection isn't on hold anymore, it's dead. They lost the license.

Legends looks more accurate. Mafex QC issues always been an issue with me collecting them
