The wrist peg break has unfortunately happened to almost all Of us. When putting the hands on if they don’t go On easily I always recommend taking a knife or Screwdriver, and scraping the inside of the hand in circle Motions to Make the whole bigger!! I agree we shouldn’t have to do that when these figures cost so much but unfortunately it’s one of those things we have to be careful with. After it’s happened once for me I haven’t let it happen again.
After so much pulling weeds and painting I’ve finally got enough money to buy him and is freaking amazing articulation is great and sculpt is good 10/10
Hopefully this doesn’t spoil your opinion on the wave because Mafex makes some of the best 1/12 figures out there Especially their XMen / Hush lines If you want a recommendation for what figs to get next I recommend Venom, Carnage, Wolverine, and Cyclops. They all reissued recently and their prices are still around the 100-110$ dollar range
Welcome to the Mafex family I’m sorry about the broken wrist peg. Mafex has gotten a lot better when it comes to not having QC issues / breakage but they’re still more fragile because of the higher quality plastic they use. It’s not as durable as marvel legends which use a gummier plastic I would buy a KO Spider-Man off of Ali Express and swap the wrist peg if you can. My Spider-Man 185 took a lot of shelf dives and luckily he never broke
