Thanks man, really helps alot! For those who need to do this, you have to be really REALLY careful when trying to pop off and pop in the joint. Try to wiggle slowly, if its too tight, dump back in the hot water. The web line wash came off is one of mafex qc issue. I did panel line with my gundam marker and it works fine.
Attaching the bicep back to the shoulder is actually tougher than expected. You gotta put a lot more pressure than usual to make sure the biceps stay on.
The shoulder and bicep pieces are technically floating pieces around the pin and socket for the bicep swivels, so when attaching the bicep back on you want to push at the elbow and feel the pin go through the shoulder piece into the actual socket
I tried it and yeah when i get my replacement copy im not going to bother with the shoulder swap because it has potential to snap off if your not careful.
Thanks for the video. Went relatively easy. Only thing is the hot water makes the black wash for the webbing come off. Gonna need to use some model kit marker to refill them in.
Weird, the hot water didn’t do that for me- and in general the hot water _shouldn’t_ affect the paint on a figure. Sorry to hear that happened with you

I’m really willing to do it but too afraid to do so after reading all the “I broke mine trying to…” 😅
hey man i did this but now i cant manage to put the bicep peg back in the shoulder no matter how hard i try. Does the hot water help with putting it back in? If not what else can i do im scared of breaking it

@@SpoonDudethats the thing i know the pin goes in first through the floating piece and then through the socket but it just doesnt want to go in the socket
Try to do it… the arms won’t snap inot the shoulders and one of them broke… And I just opened it I wanted to do that but I couldn’t do it I might get a new one and not do this 😅
@@Ak-X_Nanobite yeah, luckily I didn't have issues with the symbiote spider-man.. It's unfortunate that these spider-man figures are abit fragile well except for the scarlet spider which had great quality control imo.
@@Username_-yf2zw so Scarlet spiderman it’s no that fragile? I mean my symbiote spiderman didn’t have any issue but I didn’t want to risk it 😅 Plus I like other spiderman figs like sentinel and revoltech
@@Ak-X_Nanobite to me scarlet spider felt like it wasn't going to break and I liked what they did with the hoddie and don't mind the smaller spider symbol. I have the Sentinel which is great and goes well with the shf across the spiderverse figures and I pre-ordered the revoltech 2.0 since I missed out on it initially.
This is a problem on all the figures, it was a weird design error Medicom made even on the prototype figure for the promos. We only know it’s an error since it’s swapped from the original #75 figure
