This Video presentation is found to be very useful in reaffirming the transformation of Maha Janapadas into a vast empire through the intellectual skills, valor and vision of Chandragupta Mourya, after the exit of Alexander in 323 B.C. and the history of this vast sub-continent, which is now being called as India is authentic from the entry of Chandragupta Mourya! The pitiable part of the history of this vast and water-rich triangular sub-continent is the distortions made to the reality especially by dragging the geographical issues of Kuru Janapadam! The true history of this vast land has been distorted by interpolations that had crept in in the name of rama's story to a little extent and the stories of Dhritarashtra and Pandu and the subsequent battle among the kouravas, who inherited the lineage of Kuru and the Pandavas, who were said to be uterus brothers of the two females, Kunti and Madri, who were declined the share in the kingdom by Duryodhana, the son of Dhritarashtra on the grounds of legality that none of the five claimants were born to Pandu, the younger brother of Dhritarashtra! It is noteworthy that a sanskrit-telugu scholar Pendyala Venkata Subrahmanya Sastry, a teacher in the College of Pithapuram, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh had made a thorough and accurate research in 1920s by travelling far and wide in the british India and published a book in English by titling it as "The History of Mahabharata" (Mahabharata Charitramu, in Telugu) in 1930s by establishing the true sequences of the period from three years after the post-war in Kurukshetra between the armies of Duryodhana and Dharmaja, by quoting that the record of the events was first produced in the name of "Jaya" by Vyasa, who was said to be the true ancestor of Dhritarashtra and Pandu! It is established with reliable references by Subrahmanya Sastry that the true story of Kaurava and Pandavas had contained only 5000 verses and the present versions of Bharata or Mahabharata running into one lakh verses and widely spread throughout the subcontinent is true to the extent of 5% and the rest 95% is distortions and interpolations, grossly damaging the authenticity of the facts and reality relating to the history of the subcontinent above the Vindhya Range! Researchers like the presenter of this video should lay focus in establishing the facts and reality of the history from 5000 b.c. to 325 b.c. of this land, so that the credibility of the history would be accepted by the rest of the world! Wishing a successful effort in this direction!!
