Probably one of my favorite guitar players and singers. Her musical style is incredibly technical, and her lyricism has helped me out of a very dark time in my life. I look to her for inspiration often

Kaki and Pat Metheny are the most underrated guitar players, in my opinion. Most of Kaki's songs beg belief! She has a completely unique style. NO ONE has this gorgeous style! Why she is not widely recognized, I will never understand!

I dont know if you read these comments. I discovered your art awhile back, and am in love with what you create. For me, music has only ever been to enjoy listening to. I am a 50 year old who, in large part because of you, started making 3 string cigar box guitars and am teaching myself to make noise come from them that isn't too horrible. Seriously, never played anything until I built a silly guitar. Thank you. You are an artist extraordinaire Kaki. Just know you make a difference :-) My very best to you and the fam !

LOL! That whole orchestra had a brand new experience that night! I LOOOOOVE the part @2:58 where they all slowly came down a key. This HAS to be used in a Horror film somewhere!

you guys complaining about literally any technical aspect of a performance - do you honestly think the featured musicians are unaware of any possible flaws with their output? moreover, do you think that your personal dislikes are universal for all people? cuz i'm pretty sure she wouldn't put anything out that wasn't exactly how she wanted it. it's not impossible, just highly unlikely.

Relax... Some people do not understand the differences between a studio recording, and a virtually live one. Those who close their eyes understand that, in the end, it is always about emotions; never technicalities.

I have all of her albums. Great songs! Especially when I need emotional comfort in the form of music. Kaki and Yann Tiersen are my go-to artists.

Geeze, your guitar has such a great amount of low end, but the kind that's still tight and precise. It avoids that flabbyness when the attack of the low end is just vague. It's really nice! Must be the pick-up inside the guitar, or just really great stage mics.

Great performances! However, as a trumpet player, I think that the trumpet volume was a little bit too high. Its volume is above the mix. It should've been within it. Disregarding such detail, this is an absolute masterpiece! Kaki King never disappoints! She is one of the most, if not the most underrated guitar player. Her songs are appreciated only by those who truly understand the purity of communication via artistic sounds. I am glad to be one of them. Thank you, Kaki.

The orchestral arrangements wasn't really easy to appreciate due to the sound mixing, because I couldn't hear much of the guitar. The orchestra sound it's practically eating the guitar sound. I don't think it was intended this way, I think the orchestra should be like a background layer for the guitar and not the other way around. I like the original song very much, but honestly, this was a little difficult to hear. Much love and respect Kaki.

The violins almost ruined it but the guitar obviously sounds perfect witch makes it a great song... idk why they decided to do the siren sounds, that kind of breaks the flow but whatever

I disagree with, and am severely disappointed by this recording. The orchestra drowns out the guitar to disastrous effect. Very well played so I find it a profound shame that the levels make no sense to my ear. I believe it would have been much more powerful with greater dynamic variation. The original is outstanding. This could have been also. The instrument balance is ruinous.

The orchestra feels like a drag. It sounds more like a jam session in the making and not the final piece. This collaboration has failed to supersede the original piece.
