Magda Olivero brings a very personal and vivid portrayal of the heroine, although she never had the chance to sing the role on stage. This video has the added advantage of being in excellent stereophonic sound. It was recorded on December 14, 1968, at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam; the conductor was Fulvio Vernizzi.
