At a time when everyone seems to be getting in on the mech action, I didn't expect a lot for CoilArt's Mage mech 'Tricker kit'. The title put me off, but I gave them a fair crack, and I'm jolly pleased I did! The CoilArt Mage Mech Tricker Kit is certainly one that surprised me!

You covered exactly what I would've!!! The only complaint I had was that the button magnets could've been a bit stronger and the button as a whole could've been a tighter fit, and the lack of a battery rattle spring on the resin was my biggest let down, thanks for the honesty man keep it up!

Wow I'm surprised by these. I actually really like the resin look. Maybe not that color u have but a nice green one i think would look sweet. I really like the fact that u can lock the button. I wish more mechs did that. Great review Dean

I think the only reason I would prefer the geekvape mech over this is the optional floating 510. mostly because I'm looking for a first mech, and not sure I want to go the hybrid route straight away. thank you for the review, and I'll definitely keep this kit on my radar!

Spectacular video as always mate! Placed an order for this little beauty based on this video - got it yesterday and stuck some of my own aliens in, tried to fire it and it wasn't having it...after a bit of research, it turns out that they went a bit overboard with the coating on the black ones - if anyone has any issues, just take off the button, clear all the coating off of the threading, give it a quick polish and woosh, clouds for days...actually with how hard this hits, clouds for years! Keep up the great reviews and content man :)

Sitting here tooting on mine when i watched the video and a few things came to mind. I own both of them and the multicolor i got did not have the insulator "condom" inside the tube. The black one had coating on the button threads but i sorted that out with some gentle loving and a vaperag. Just a heads up. That being said, i´ve been rocking these for quite some time and i just love them. The black one i use as a beater and it surely is a hard hitter. Loved the video Dean!

Loving the review and glad that I am currently waiting on delivery of the black kit, so this review just reaffirmed my choice. One question though: what wire are you using for your coils? Ive always wondered this when I've seen you building on videos.

a little better on rda threads length, got a skill rda few days ago, i plugged the fucker on my wifes vgod and never worked! got my self a coil art and damn hits like a 200dls mech mod

kraus hellbound that's weird that an rda won't work on a mech. Something isn't making connection somewhere. I would check all the contacts and threads. Give it all a good cleaning and try again maybe?

it works perfect on my coil art but on my wifes vgod dont! the mod its new and i even gave it a good clean on threads and i just dont work, rda pin way too short for the vgod, lots of battery rattle

thanks Dean! the black mech is similar to a copper vgod. the vgod has a better switch it looks like but w/o any lock.

Hello Dean. Great review as always. There were some complaints from reviewers that the venting holes are closed when the button is locked. Is the inner sleeve removable if you want to drill an extra hole for venting? Greetings from Germany

Really awesome review of the kit! After wathcing your review of the Tsunami mech kit, which one would you recommend as a first mech tube? The coilart or the tsunami? I'm interested in the black version (brass) with the tsunami and copper with the coil art. I do not know much about the mage RDA, but I do know that the Tsunami RDA is a popular nice little RDA. Thanks for your help in advance!

I'd love to see you review the Advken Mad Hatter 24 mech kit. I know you've reviewed their stuff in the past. The dripper looks like a bit of a pumpkin spice latte basic _____, but sometimes simple is good. I liked their mad hatter v2 stainless mech quite a bit. Interestingly they went back to a spring from a magnetic switch.

I talked about it in a previous review, I had two sets of figures because initially I used SS wire, and then went to kanthal as it's more resistant to ohm fluctuation. The numbers on the chart for it are with the Kanthal coil.

We need to trade our off colored buttons! My purple and gold tube came with a red button and your red tube came with a purple/gold button. If we trade they'll both look better.

Hi Dean .. I have the mage kit for about 3 weeks and when you are on dual coil with dual air flow if you try to close down the air flow and she's an airy bitch..your single air hole will open and become a third air hole.. just saying... but it is what it is ...thats my one con...as you said it's a surprising lil package..thanks for being brilliant..I love your vids...

Hi, good morning, i was wondering if you dont mind i would like to ask you a question regardind safety. am a beginner trying to learn but still difficult to me to understand certain things, especially regarding ohmns? i am latelly using recurve squonk mod, using 20700 bats with 0.20ohms hand made coils, am i safe with this? i read on the mod manual which recommends to use builts over 0.25 or above... thank you very much in advance

Vaping Biker looks like it's a similar device or at least aimed at the same place in the market. It's a shame both companies feel the need to write their names in giant letters down the side. It doesn't make them exactly exude class. I do like the finish though.

The magnet covers the vent holes... IDK, dont seem that smart to me. I am most likely buying the black kit anyway, seems unbeatable for the price. Very similar to the vgod, in many ways, but the screw out button is different. T
