I go to sleep with this every night. I have complete deafness in my left ear, severe tinnitus in that one and nothing helps mask that. But I just developed tinnitus in my hearing ear, and it's pretty crushing to know that due to factors out of my control, my hearing loss is getting progressively worse. This is the only video that helps me cope with my right ear tinnitus. Not perfect, but helpful.
The high pitch noise in the backround sounds like I'm in a plane, and im trying to fall asleep on a few hour long ride. This has now become one of my fav study noises, thank you!

This is my favorite so far! It is as if my tinnitus is trying to change pitch up and down in an attempt to “break through” this sound. Very effective background noise. Keep up the great work!
Haven't found one of your videos that is close to my tinnitus but will keep listening . I have tinnitus in both ears the sound of sssssssss at little bit like in some old western movies at night not the crickets sound but sssssss. I have a slight hearing loss in the higher range. I have hearing aids they do help a little.
Hi Mike, Thanks for the input. The approach I have taken comes from my experience with ringing type tinnitus perspective. I'm learning about the varieties of sounds like noise, rather than ringing, of some listeners and will attempt some sounds suited to mask that type of sound.
Reminds me of the time my fan broke. I threw it away because it was making the exact same irritating sound as this. You definitely got the "noise" part right.
so pleased i have discovered your amazing work! i like this one cos it feels like the rain is chucking down outside but I am nice n warm indoors and can relax better knowing that i am not outside trying to cope with being soaked through and freezin wet and cold. I still haven't been able to find my perfect frequency for my tinnitus. I have two sound's in my painful ringing. At this point I'd rather go deaf than have to deal with this anymore. I'm totally fucking serious

can someone pls tell me how do I know need listen to white, pink, or other colors categories? Low pitch, high pitch, louder or lower volume than my tinnitus? I am quite confused, I am afraid listen to some sound therapies makes my tinnitus worst 🥺😥😢😢😓
Hi PP, Generally, tinnitus masking and noise masking is listened to at low volumes. If you want to determine what pitch your tinnitus is at, the type of tinnitus you have as well as health and well being components, check out information on the American Tinnitus Association website - Sound Therapies, or the audiologist, Dr. Ben Thompson videos here on RU-vid. Both resources take a deep dive into the subject.

And lastly, when you say noise masker better at low volume, I have tried that, and is really hard for me sleep since I still hear my tinnitus! My ringing is high pitch for sure is like bell 🔔 ringing 🥺😥😓
I'm new to your channel; just found you. So glad that I did. I have been thinking on my 'tinnitus', (which no doctor that I've seen about it; 'specialists' included, have had ANY answers for; & definitely no help either), & how I'm beginning to believe has a lot to do with the 'waves' that we are subjected to every day & NOT 'ringing in the ears', but in the brain. The power lines, cell towers emit so much negative ¿energy? as it is & the 'powers-that-be' are pushing this 5G garbage as a 'great thing', where in all actuality it is nothing less than military-grade weaponized 'waves'. Am I craaazzzyyy, (as many people tell me I am), or in any way close to the target? I'm seriously wondering what YOU think about my 'hypothesis'. Look into craniosacral therapy . Alot of this noise is a result of nervous system overload. A few sessions may help release you from a state of anxiety and calm the tinnitus
