Last night we discussed "Hamnet" by Maggie O'Farrell in our book group. It was so interesting. I love the way Maggie O'Farrell created the personality of Anne Hathaway - Shakespeare's wife. We also considered opinions from Germaine Greer's interesting book, "Shakespeare's Wife" and Bill Bryson's book "Shakespeare: The Illustrated Edition." Ian Mortimer's book "The Time Traveller's Guide to Elizabethan England" gave some more local context.
