This song cures my "missing him" moments. I still love him, and probably always will....but I love my peace more! Peace = freedom that you didn't know you were missing when you've been involved in a toxic relationship.

I love Maggie Rose!!!! I've seen her in concert at I SWEAR it has to be the smallest outside venue ever... Wind Creek Atmore... I was singing and literally she saw I was singing along.. and pointed at me... Every song I have ever heard seems to touch me in some way.... either when my brother passed away or when I was separated from my husband or when I have just been proud of my own accomplishments.. Her music has been there for me.

I heard this song on my 6 hour drive moving to a new state and replayed it enough to memorize it that day. I love this artist now! At first it made me think of my separation from my husband.... but now it just makes me think of my journey growing up with SUPER strict parents and coming into my own when I moved out. Which way has it led y'all?

From the very start this girl had been so incredibly special. Each song -"country" or not- is so poignantly presented and meant to deeply reach our ears and emotions. Just like to listen to them all.

I have loved this woman's music since the first time I seen her in that Blue Convertible singing a cover of Use Somebody then a couple years later it was on a bus in downtown Nashville singing Maybe Tonight. She used a different name then but she was just as talented and beautiful.

I love the stripped-down instrumentation. Not over-produced. Great vocal delivery and honest, thoughtful lyrics. I only wish that Maggie would go back to doing country and roots, with some soul and retro r&b influence...as is suited for her vocals. She could strike her own path, her own style of country.

What an amazing song, this is my first time hearing it!!! I'm not really thinking about any ex boyfriend here, but this is exactly how I feel about my parents right now.
