I too loved that the models were more than one size. It displays the designers knowledge and skill at helping brides of all sizes to look fabulous. Beautiful designs, awesome designer.
I think this lady got to wear three or four gowns, actually, and they all looked amazing. Her runway walk was the fastest, which I thought was a shame. I would have liked to see her a little longer.
totally agree this is a fabulous collection and a plus size model is so refreshing but she needs to work on that walk she stomped down that catwalk like an elephant on benzos
Yes the FABULOUS Plus Model is none other than our own Naomi of Plus Modeling, Ms. Liris Crosse! She is an American plus model, who recently won as Model of the Year on Project Runway! Look her up...she's the REAL DEAL!
Good thing this designer includes plus size model (not sure if she is plus size) and the dresses are absolutely wonderful. I think what I like most about them is that they don't look uncomfortable or too revealing. The prices on these dresses aren't outrages imo.
I am blown away! Every time I thought I saw my favorite a another gorgeous gown would appear. I loved them all!!! They are exquisite!!! That last one, though...ohhh...stunningly beautiful!
I was a bridal consultant when Maggie was all about the lace up corset (almosy 20 years ago). And my own wedding dress was a Maggie. It's wonderful to see how her dresses have evolved. Thank you for sharing.
I love Maggie Sottero dresses but the plus size model yaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssss girl you rocked them dresses I'm excited to try on dresses now for my wedding. Can't wait to go and try on that dress.
Enfin un défilé pour tout le monde. Merci pour y avoir inclus un modèle «plus size». Au moins on peut se rendre compte du tombé de ces robes magnifiques sur une personne qui a un corps normal. Tout le monde ne mesure pas 1,83m pour 45kg. Dommage qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul modèle, mais c'est déjà un bon début. Soit dit en passant, cette jeune femme est magnifique!!
Kudos to Emiliano Bengasi for not only making gowns in plus sizes which are KILLER, but also for having a woman of color showing those beautiful gowns!
The dress on that full figured model. Yyeeeessssss. Makes me want to hunt down that specific dress and try it on. That silhouette flatters every curve! And those straps....STUNNING. I always dreamed of being a Maggie bride. So classy and blingy and all out gorgeous gowns! It's like she designs a little something for every body type. I love it
Love they have a plus size model!!!Shows that this designer wants to dress brides in all shapes and sizes! Also the fit and flares aren't skin tight ( it fold when they walk) which is good!
Exquisite gowns on beautiful women. I love that none of these models look anorexic...they all have lovely figures and the gowns look gorgeous on them. The curvy model is not really plus size, more like real size and the gowns look wonderful on her. Hooray Maggie Sotero! The fabrics and laces are luscious. The only thing I did not care for were the slit skirts. Not for bridal wear. Otherwise a beautiful collection.
Finally! A woman that looks like a real woman and not a dead eyed mannequin. For years designer's have been totally ignorant of the fact that a majority of today's brides have a little boom boom all over. If they were smart they'd start designing gowns especially for them! for

Nice designs featuring all body shapes As with so many bridal fashion show events though....the music is awful and is so distracting from the elegance of the bridal experience.
Beautiful. So great to see models who don't look like they're on a hunger strike. Don't like the fact that the ONLY model of color was the plus size model (who looked beautiful).

Why did the last model stand right in front of the black plus sized model completely obstructing her from. View? All other models went to the side of another model. Very unprofessional.
Because it was the last dress of the show, usually referred to as the "show stopper" so of course she's gonna stand front and center. It would not have mattered who was behind her.
A few more veils might have been nice. I must confess that I would be one of those freak brides who would wear colorful jewelry and accessories--namely purple. :0)

The dresses were beautiful, especially the fabrics. The red lipstick was garish and the models' hair looked like it had not been combed in a month. Totally distracted from the beautiful gowns.
