Maggie may not have been one of the funniest characters but her relationship with Fran made up for it. Fran's influence really shaped her to blossom.

Originally the show wasn't even going to have Maggie, they were only going to have Brighton and Gracie, but they decided they wanted Max to have a teenage daughter specifically to look up to Fran as a mentor.

I enjoyed watching her go from incredibly socially awkward to full of joy by the end of the show. I figured that's what she was there for. to show how much Fran really lit up the room for this family.

I deal with depression and anxiety too honey. I know it’s hard but please take heart that you’re not alone❤️ Fran Drescher herself has been through a lot personally yet she’s able to come and be a bright spot in our days. So perhaps when you or myself are feeling low we can try and channel our inner Fran ❤️ *hugs*

You can see how much she shaped Maggie she was shy unpopular and quiet she became outgoing fun and lively but one thing Fran always did was love Maggie even and told her how wonderful she was even before those things

One of my favorite episodes the fact Fran tried to change herself thinking it would help Maggie shows how much she loves her. The beauty of it was the fact Maggie loved Fran for herself and never wanted her to change. The impact Fran had in their lives in so little time says a lot!

How come after a bun THAT tight her hair manages to look so fabulously curly ??? edit : people, this comment was meant as a joke. This wasn't a real question so please, refrain from giving me masterclasses on hairstyling. I am also aware this is a sitcom and that Fran is actually an actress with hairdresser/dresser/make-up artist to tend to her between shots.

It looked like it was slicked back with hairspray and/or gel. She completely changed her outfit too, so she could have easily worked in a quick 5 minute shampoo and rinse, then a few minutes with a hairdryer. That would get her natural frizzy curl back.

Plaid skirts not part of a school uniform are a thing, they were VERY popular in the 90’s in the US. Most of the girls in my school had at least one, and we were in public school with a relatively lax dress code.
