Black soldier flies, small and harmless insects, possess the potential to provide viable solutions to two prevalent challenges in contemporary agriculture: the excessive expense of animal feed and the disposal of significant amounts of animal waste. Ogwang Morris, a resident of Kalungu Village in the Luwero District, collaborates with the Women Income Network, specializing in cultivating black soldier flies. This initiative contributes to maggot production, an emerging resource with substantial promise for alleviating poverty among women in the region. The remarkable aspect here is that this field remains largely unexplored, and by following Morris's lead, we have the potential to positively transform our lives. This is primarily attributed to the ongoing significance of maggots in both the Agriculture and Cosmetics sectors. Let's seize this opportunity, as it requires minimal initial investment of only 150,000 shillings and promises significant returns.
