Eh it’s rough, 5F has enough CMs to hang in defensive, but the fact that you only carry 4 missiles does impact your presence quite a bit. 11.7 compared to 12.3 is preferred IMO.
Personally, I prefer the magic 2 to the r73 or 9m, they have better irccm, it is like the r73 but without the nerf and it is simply abusive, the r73 only kills at short distances or from behind, the 9m is better but the magic 2 spins much better now
Magic 2 has worse irccm than r73 ?? And r73 has much more range and better manouverability (if u exclude the few times when it likes to role play as a beyblade)
@@hemendraravi4787 I said that it is more of a personal preference, yes the range is important but it is not an R60 either, you can make shots at 2km perfectly and the acceleration they have leaves no reaction time, the irccm It's simply better than the r73, there's no doubt I've done completely disgusting kills with the magic 2, the r73 is more like an aim9L in its early days when it hadn't been nerfed (referring to resistance to countermeasures)
IRCCM is similar, but the magic accelerate quicker so it gives less time to react and manoeuver/flare effectively... as long as the missile travel long enough to activate the proxy fuse
So a few things to know still : -Magic 2 IRCCM is still vastly underperforming -Magic 2 is not 50G, it's still 35G (waiting for 50G combined plane) -in a very recent report, Magic 2 charts were shown to not be accurate. Actually, Magic 2 might be a slow, but long burning missile. When testing it in those new conditions, missile is able to do a 180° and hit a target flying past you, even at current 35G. -Magic 2 engine smoke should be lower than it is (reduced smoke, but not AIM9M level) So yeah, it still has a bit of time before being SS tier
I don't want these changes to come. The magic 2 like it is now is available to airplanes at a comparably low Battlerating and these planes get more than just carried by the magic 2. The missile is to strong for its respective br in my opinion and making it even stronger is nice for top tier but you either will have to raise the br of the lower br planes so that you have an f4 ICE situation or leave them at their br and take away their missile. Buffing something to be so much more capable than it was when introduced to the game brings problems.
Pretty sure f16 or gripen is the dog fighter king (in terms of raw flight performance) , while su27 has the best dogfighting missiles , mirage is just in between (worse for mirage 4000 due to lack of hmd)
@hemendraravi4787 I was referring to the Mirage 2000 5F, this guy is unbeatable in dogfights, the 4000 however is more limited cause he's top tier and just a prototype against fully licensed and produced top notch machines so yeah it is definitely harder to win a dogfight with it
@@bdc96 yeah, everythings feels like a tiktok nowadays, but i really did enjoy the video, there are only a few WT youtubers that put effort making cinematics and such, and not just overlaying everything with sounds and memes, so yeah, this video was 10/10 overall
anyone else died to invisible magic 2s, looking right where it came from and it didnt appear until it was 0.5km away? had 3 today hit me, idk if other people are having the same issue when i am firing them
I don’t recall fully what was changed (there were quite a few changes) but the delay before missile stars maneuvering off the rail was reduced. As for 50Gs - Magic 2 was spotted doing around 50G overload in tac view.
Never trust The warthunder stat card, the in game code generally tells a different story. Like the AAM 3 says 40g on the card but it's closer to 30g in actual game play, or the chinese Ty90 that says 20g overload but it regularly pulls 30gs to out turn its target lol
@@-..----.--.-... they should fix everything, nerfing a weapon/vehicle's performance for balance is stupid, we have a BR system to separate them properly

In that case, they should also add either the AIM-9M-II or AIM-9X Block I and the Python 4.
