Magic Ben teaches 2 Bits Plus. This is an intermediate magic performance that requires some practice to perform smoothly. In the USA, the bit is equal to 12+1⁄2¢, a designation dating to the colonial period, when the most common unit of currency used was the Spanish dollar, which was also known as "piece of eight“. It was worth 8 Spanish silver reales. $1⁄8 or 1 silver real was 1 "bit". Or 2 bits is what we now call a “Quarter”
